The best days of life

The college campus is one of the largest and best campus. All the needy shops are available in the campus like stationary, xerox and other food shops. The campus has a wide range of sports grounds right from cricket ground, tennis court to indoor games like table tennis. Our campus had an auditorium were various events were held.

The course curriculum had a wide range of technical subjects and in depth learning. The curriculum was equally biased with theory and practical. Every sem 3 practical exams were conducted and atleast 4 theory exams along with some project.

The placements in my college was outstanding. We had around 100 - 110 companies visiting campus for placements. And these were most of the well reputed MNC'S. Both service and product based companies approached us and we had a option to choose to which company to apply and which to not.

In the early days of the year we had a event called Sinhgad Carnival. These was a fun loving event with stalls of food and games and in second half we had sinhgad karandak which consisted of sports dance drama music technical competitions like robotics and lot more like celebrating different days from the calender. Some workshops were also held with hands on experience.

The fee of college was around a lakh and not so expensive. It included everything from classroom learning to labs and sports and fees for other activities. Again there were scholarship so the one who was not able to pay the fee could choose one of the scholarship suitable for self.

I hadn't applied for any scholarships but I had heard some of them. SOME of those were EBC, Jain minority and many other Government scholarships. There was also special scholarship for girls. The forms of this scholarship were available in college itself and some were online.

The college itself helds a lot of extra curricular activities. Every year we had an annual event called sinhgad karandak which consists of sports competitions dance, music, drama, robotics and many more fun loving activities.

The hostel infrastructure is good and facilities like water filter, cooler and solar for bathing, electricity were always available. The only disappointment was cleaning was twice a week. Parking for vehicles was available and guards were always present on the gate. I would rate 8 out of 10.

Yes, they are ready to help when ever we need them. Right from placement to working in corporate they are always available. I am placed in cognizant and on the first day itself we had an alumni connect session through which we could clear all our doubts.

A comulative score was calculated by adding JEE MAIN score and PCM total (12th marks) and based on this score ranking was assigned. Then we were asked to fill college list and as per ranking colleges were alloted. There were 3 such rounds.

The faculty at my college were quite helpful and understanding of subject and ability of delivering it to us was the best thing. Most of the faculties had completed there PhD. Some of them were rude also who used to make us work hard but that at the end paid off for us.
