The campus is really big and is a lush green campus.
There are many opportunities in college for ex. Bootcamps and internships are provided by the college
All the clubs are active and operational in college according to your hobbies

Dislikes

College is very over crowded and you will literally feel suffocated in the campus
The fee of the courses are very high and for everything thing a fee is charged
Even fests tickets are over prized and crowded

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are up to date as per the latest regulations of the ministry of education. The exams are conducted in for 100 marks each semester in which 60 are the internals and 40 are the end semester examination

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 475000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the big companies are giving internoships in campus just you need to work on your skills. Each company provides different projects based on the skills of the students and also provide summer internship.

Placement Experience

From 6-7 th semester students become eligible fir campus placement. All the big companies including Accenture wipro google meta Jio TCS comes for the campus placement. Nearly 80-85% students gets placed every year

Fees and Financial Aid

4.75 lakh is the yearly fees of SRM CHENNAI OF CSE CORE BRANCH with a class capacity of approx 60. 10000 is the registration fees and 3500 is the exam fees which is compulsory to be paid if you want to write exam. Scholarships are available for those whose rank is under 500 in SRMJEEE FOR KATTANKULATHUR CAMPUS .

Campus Life

Milan and Aarush are the two main Fests held every year. Milan is held in March whereas aarush is held in September. The central Library is situated in University Building which is of 4 floors. Every student can join clubs or even host social events and clubs

Hostel Facilities

Ac and attached washroom are given in hostel Meal is somewhat okay . Even North Indian foods are served there. Hostel is accomodated online through student portal. The locality is good for rented rooms and PG

Hostel Fee: INR 153000 per year

Admission

I applied in Manipal and vit but the culture in Manipal and strictness is not good as compared to SRM. VIT WAS very far from Chennai Central and airport while on the other hand srm is just 20 km away from airport and 45 km away from Chennai Central

Faculty

1:300 is the probable ratio of the faculty to student . Dr. E Suresh is a very well known and loved faculty of Mathematics and also uploads videos of courses on his youtube channel which is very helpful.

Night Life

Public area library are clean and air- conditioned. Gym and play areas are there in campus. Hostel and campus In timings are 9 pm Java is one of the famous hangout places in campus all the necessary stalls are situated there

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
