The first year course is little old but similar to all other universities, the first year is all common for all branches like C.E, T.T, T.C, F.A.E, E.C.E etc. from second year onwards all respective branches have to work on their branch syllabus which is taught by well trained faculty with all necessary lab and practical works. for textile branch specially this college is very Best as it have all industrial machines to give you the knowledge.

The placement of textile branch is 101% like highest package for this branch is 18 akhs by company trident. the placement for computer engineering is slight lower with highest package of 12 lakh with average 7 to 8 lakhs.

The annual fee for the B.tech program is appx- 1.55 lakhs per year for general category and others, this includes 1.22 lakh as tution fees, 18,300 as devlopement fees, 15,470 as university charges, and other compulsory charges such as insurance. Additional one-time charges like caytion deposit and registration fees are applicable in the first semester. For hostelers, extra expensessuch as room rent, utilities and mess charges are all seperate from the 1.55 lakh fees. the complete fee over four years for day scholars comes roughly 6.2 to 6.5 lakhs. the fee structure is remained stable for past few years with no hikes shows that it may can be increased in future. the experience is fine with having many functions every year like annual day, freshers party, farewell, convocation, dandiya nights and many more society events. the college has 5 societies which has different roles like placement oriented, talent oriented, stage host oriented etc.

Because this college is one of the oldest in India, it was established in 1943 by Sir G.D Birla. This colllege is famous and reputated for in Textile Branches. It has large alumni base working in almost every textile company. The 101% placement facility for Textile Branch shines a lot among other colleges

the faculty is very good, caring, supportive, approachable, friendly, and act like acadmic guardian. Dr. sunil Baloda sir who teaches engineering graphics and drawing to first year is very supportive for me. Dr. lima pattanayak teaches math is also very supportive and acts like guardian. Dr. Jasmeet kaur teaches English and Spoken Language is also very cool teacher.

the student mostly are day scholar but the few hostelers enjoy their college life in hostels as college campus is closed after 6 and no one is allowed to enter in the campus. canteen one in the college and cafes and restaurants, gyms nearby the college
