Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya was founded by B.D.Gupta, former chief minister of Haryana and former Member of Parliament , with eminent social reformers & educationists of Bhiwani in 1970 with aim of imparting higher education to girls. The college is affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The college offers Undergraduates and Postgraduates courses in the field of Arts, Science and Commerce
- In 2000-01, the college introduced Computer Science courses
- In 2003-04, B.Com with Computer Application started in the college
- In 2008-09, the college started B.Sc. with Computer Science and P.G. Courses in Maths,English & Economics Under Self Financing Scheme
- The college also offers Data Care Managemen and Early Child Care and Education
- There are more than 2500 students in the campus
Extra-Curricular:
- NCC- NCC enroll 102 students in which 66 cadets participated in A.T.C, 4 in Bajnath Shivir, 3 cadets in NIC camp in Nagaland, 12 cadats participated in 15 August and 26 January marchpast etc.
- NSS- NSS organizes various camps like Stress Management, Scientific Attitude, Aids Awareness, Spirituality, Women & Adult Girls problems, Motivational events, Blood & eye donation, First Aid etc for inculcating moral values and social service
- The college various cultural activities and competitions at state and national level Cultural activities like dance, singing, painting, etc.
- The college publish the annual magazine “Anupama” for students to express their ideas, thoughts and feelings
- The college won M.D.U Championship Trophy in 2012-13

- Haryana State Scholarships Scheme – Under this scheme, meritorious students will be given fixed annual scholarship based on their position/performance in Annual University Examination in both graduate and post graduate classes at college level. 5000/-p.a. will be given to first position holder, 3000/-p.a. will be given to second position holder, 2000/-p.a. will be given to third position holder
