Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is vast but very interesting and hence I choose this course. Frequency of exams should be monthly once. There should be culturals and and other CME programs to improve knowledge. There should be DRP programs and other field visits to improve clinical exposure.

Internships Opportunities

4

After completing the course you can join as redidents in hospitals with a starting salary of 6k per month. There is a 1 year compulsory intership which the college offers after which we will receive our certificates.

Placement Experience

4

Soon after studies there is no assured package but if you can get decent job offers from various hospitals with a min salary package of 60k. There is a lot of opportunities that you have after completing MBBS. Wide variety of opportunity to learn from.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees is 5lakhs for general category. If SC /ST special fee allowance available. Caution deposit is 1lakh. Tutition fee is 3lakh. Registeration fee is 1 lakh. Admission fee is 2 lakh. Development and lab fees is 1 lakh. Malayalam language speaking minority has fee allownace upto 1 lakh.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. Although he management is strict there are CMEs and other cultural programs. They have a huge library with varieties od books which can be of great help for voracious readers. The infrastructure is really good. Extracurricular and sports activities are there which probide great relief during he tough times

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilitoes are good. They have singlr rooms with attached bathrooms and their mebu has variety of dishes. Hostel stays open till 9 at night. They have tight security system to avoid mishaps. Quality of food served in hostel is good

Admission

Prefer this college over other private colleges in tamilnadu since it has good academics. It has a good foundation as it is an old college. Admission process is through NEET. Cutoff for this exam is 50 percentile. Overall admission expwrience is quite disappointing as they pospone dates and there is much delay

Faculty

4

The facaulty and academics is good. The teachers are friendly and approachable. Pathology and psm hod's were too good. There are regular exams and internal examinations which helps in completing the syllabus on time and preparing for the final exams

Night Life

4

Most common hangout places are beaches nearby. Closing time for gym , cafeteria, library nad public area is 10pm at night and hostel is compulsory where we have food from different cuisine. Hostel stays open till 9 at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.
