Course Curriculum Overview
BCA can be seen as a simple version of Btech. As btech is for 4 years and BCA is for 3 years so its less time-consuming. The things taught in BCA are coding, data analysis, Machine learning and other things also which help you gain a wider knowledge in the field of technology. So, due to its less time, I chose this course, but it's not seen as equal to a btech degree, which is its demerit.
Internships Opportunities
As I am about to enter the last year of my college life, so i will tell that an internship is very important for making a good resume. The college basically provides a free internship course without a stipend, which is a normal internship. i will suggest you get an intership on your own with a stipend, which will have a good impact on your resume.
Placement Experience
The placement of this college is good as it is not so bad. Students who focus on themselves and study for the placement make it. It depends on the student, basically, whether he wants to get placed or not. The average package for BCA is 6LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to my fee structure, my tuition fees were 72000 and may exam fees were 15000, and the caution fees was 2000. As I chosse specialisation of AI/ML with my BCA degree so the college took 25000 extra for that. There is another fee for 1000 for ID card which will come under miscellaneous fee in where your fine is also added if is there is any. You have to pay your next semester's fees before the 7th of April every year for the next year.
Campus Life
My college life is an average college life. There are many events held in college, but the main ones are the prarambh, fresher and the unifest. in this ther are many competitions of various types and a dj night is also held. About the clubs, there are many clubs and they organise many events for their club according to themselves. You get to know more about the clubs from their Instagram pages, which you will find on the official page of the university.
Admission
I didn't want to do B.Tech so opted for BCA. First i wanted to go to Delhi University but for some reason it did not offer BCA course. I choose this college for BCA because it is ranked in the top three for this course in UP and in the top 10 all around India, and its fees was less compared to others, including the cost of living. So for staying in UP my preferred choice was this college.
Faculty
The faculty is good for almost evey subject excluding some. Some explain the topics very nicely and properly. There was a facuty of opreating system who remember the students from ther name and treat every student equaly. The exams are held in 4 part IA1, MID term, IA2, END term. You have to score 40% of the total and 25% in END term to pass.
Night Life
i did not choose the hostel of the college so i do not know that much about it but yeah i have visited the campus hostel so i will suggest that its an average life there. The gym is good and it has many room for different types of activitys so it is good area for time pass. The rooms are prety small thats a negitive point for the hostel.
