The library is huge, fully air-conditioned, and packed with over 1.3 lakh books, journals, and digital resources. Classrooms are modern, Wi-Fi-enabled, and have projectors for interactive sessions. There’s a big sports complex with courts for badminton, basketball, tennis, football, and more.
Hostel Facilities
The mess menu is decided by students and covers all meals—think dal, sabzi, rice, chapati, paneer, and even special dishes like biryani or chole bhature. Quality is decent and hygiene is good, but like any hostel, you’ll probably crave outside food sometimes! Hostel and mess fees are around 32,000–47,000 per semester. Registration is done online—pay the fee, get your room allotment by email, and check in anytime with your ID.Hostel life at MNIT Jaipur is super convenient and packed with facilities! Rooms come with a bed, cupboard, table, chair, fan, tube light, and LAN connection. First-years share rooms (usually 3 per room), while seniors often get single rooms. Every hostel has a common room with TV and games, plus access to a gym and sports grounds.
Admission
MNIT stood out for its national ranking, active campus life, and better research opportunities compared to the state colleges. The admission process is through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling—cutoffs for CSE are usually under 10,000 AIR, while other branches have higher cutoffs. I didn’t get into the top IITs because my JEE Advanced rank wasn’t high enough, but MNIT was my top NIT choice. The admission process was smooth but a bit slow during document verification.
Night Life
Nightlife at MNIT Jaipur is a fun, relaxed mix of campus vibes and city adventures. Most students wind down after classes by hanging out in hostel common rooms, catching up in the open-air lawns, or joining club meetings—there’s always something happening, whether it’s late-night jam sessions with the Music Club, dance practice, or a heated debate with the Debating Club.
