Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum as fairly relevant and reasonably comprehensive for building a strong foundation in concept. One of th main reason i choose this course was that it covers core concepts in a structured way. The curriculum is good for theoretical knowledge and provides a base for further studies or competitive exams. In terms of improvement, the curriculum can include more practical exposure and updated industry oriented topics. The exam syllabus usually consist of internal assessment and end semester exams.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario at my college is decent and improving over time. Students usually become eligible for campus placement from 6th or 7th semester . Several companies for different sectors visit the college for recruitment mainly from IT, service and some core sectors . The roles offered are mostly for entry level positions . The average packages offered is around 5-7LPA while the highest can go up to around 8-10LPa depending on company and student performance. Approximately 70-80% students got placement through campus drives.
Fees and Financial Aid
As per my experience, the yearly fee for BTech in my year is around 1lakh. It included admission and other one time charges. The fees mainly include tuition fees, lab charges, development fees. For the exam registration fees of each semester we need to pay separately. Scholarship like Rajasthan State scholarship scheme and merit based schemes are available. The amount depends on eligibility. In my case, the fee structure is almost the same as other students in my batch. And also the fee structure has remained same throughout the course during my time here.
Campus Life
My overall experience in this college has been quite good in terms of social interaction and participation in activities. The college organizes technical events, annual, cultural, sports and other activities. There are various clubs and students groups related to technical, cultural and extra curricular activities. The libary is well stocked with a good range of academic books, reference materials, journals and newspapers. There is also and advance library too. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors, proper sitting arrangements, etc
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities is good and provide all the basic amenities required for students. Rooms are available on a sharing basis- 2 seater, 3 seater. They are equipped with essentials like bed, chair, table, cupboards, proper lighting, fans, ducting , washroom, etc. The mess food quality is average and manageable. The menu is changed for each day and repeats the same for next week. It includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner. The hostel registration process is simple and usually done during the admission time. The hostel fees are around 90k for 3 seater.
Admission
I choose this college after considering a few other options available to me at that time. I selected this college because it offered a better balance of academics, affordability and overall environments. Compared to other college i consider this college had a more structured academic systems and decent placement opportunities . The fee structure are also reasonable.
Faculty
The faculty members in the college are well qualified and experienced. The faculty-to- student ratio is 1:15, which allows for proper interaction during classes. Most teachers are willing to help students with doubts, projects and even career guidance. There are few faculty members whom i personally liked because of their humbleness and teaching methods. At the same time, teaching quality can vary from one faculty member to another as some rely on traditional. The course structure is design according to the university syllabus and covers fundamental concepts well. Regarding exams, there are usually internal assessment, midterms. The difficulty level is moderate. The marking schemes include internal marks, practical and theory exams. Overall, the academic system is structure and fair
Night Life
The nightlife around the campus is relatively calm and more focused on small hangouts rather than late night outings. On campus, facilities like cafeteria and libraries are av available. The gym is also available for both boys and girls. Hostel and campus timings are quite structured. For girls, in time is aroun 7pm for entering the campus from outside and 9pm for hostel entry which is strictly followed. For boys , movement around the campus is more flexible but goind outside the main gate at night ia generally restricted.
