The Detailed Description of Life in MNIT Jaipur.

I chose civil engineering in MNIT Jaipur because i want to pursue for civil sevices examinations and BTech degree is considerd as a good source for goverment job preperation. The curriculum is up to date with industry and market needs although it needs to be updated in some areas. The exams can be passed easily by studying a week before mid sem examinations and two weeks before end sem examinations.

TATA Cheif Engineering Officer, Infosys Core Engineering Jobs, Mahindra for Mechanical Engineering Students, Google for the jobs of programming and coding,Microsoft and Amazon Software development engineer and data scientist. Many companies also offer pre placement offer for the top students of the college.

From the 3rd year of college students starts getting pre placement offers by many companies. The companies that come in our college for placements are TATA, WHIPRO, MAHINDRA, INFOSYS,GOOGLE, MICROSOFT and many more. Highest package that was offered in whole college was 96 lacs per annum and average package was around 12 lacs per annum.If branch specific highest was 32 lacs per annum and average was 8 lacs per annum. In whole college around 70 to 80 percent of the students get palced in all the branches. I will pursue for Civil Services Examinations after the completion of the degree.

The year wise fees i am paying is around 120000 which includes all the tution fees,caution fees,registration fees,lab fees etc. The fees that my batchmates are paying is same but there are some scholarships for the students from SC, ST, OBS and EWS.Like one of my freind from SC category got 104000 ruppees back through the scholarship prograam by college.

The annual and technical festivals that happen in our college are SPHINX Fest and BLITZSCHLAG Fest. SPHINX happen evry year in the month of november and BLITZSCHLAG happens in feberaury. The class rooms are well designed with Air Condtioners, Two Projectors and good seating arrangement. College provides many sports activities inside the campus only also their is a gymnasium made recently.

In hostel room we are provided with a chair, a bed made of steel and iron, a fan, a lan port for internet connection, a table and an almirah. The quality of food provided in the mess is Average only. The accomdation of students in hostel is very good. For first year 3 students shares 1 room but after 2nd year students starts getting their indivisual rooms. The locality of the college is in the main city of the Jaipur and you can easily get any PG there.

Other than MNIT Jaipur I applied for Delhi Technical University but i was not able to get there because of my less rank.I also applied for SVNIT Surat and i also got a seat there but I chose MNIT Jaipur over it because it has better campus and placements.

The faculty to student ratio in the college is 25 students on 1 teacher.We can approach the faculties either by the mobile number provided by them or if mobile number is not provided we approach to them through (Class Representative). The faculties i like are firstly, our mechanical workshop sir he was very kind and knowledgable person he also used to give us practical life knowledge. Exams happen semester wise within every six months, the mid sem exams also take place in the middle of the semester. Other than that some of the teachers of some subjects took exam according to their need and the marks are added in internal evaluation.

There is a gymnasium opened recently with all type of machine equipments provided and well maintained.A central library is also their which is open only till 10 PM in night which is also well designed and seating capacity is also at a great extent. Inside the hostel and campus we can move anytime needed freely without the permission of any faculty.But outside the college we can go till 10 PM only but can come inside the campus any time at mid night also with the valid gate pass provided.
