Course Curriculum Overview

3

B.Tech Biotechnology is only for people who want to go into research. Other than that for people who want to do masters and them go into FMCG/biotech industry. And lastly for those who took Biology in school and now have no other option.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities provided by the college are not plenty and will only be available in the last semester. for your summer training you have to find your own institution to intern at which is where teachers will help a lot if yu ask for their help.

Placement Experience

2

Students become eligible for campus placements in the last year. High profile companies as well as small companies come for placements but more small scale companies come as compared. My plans after completing the degree is to get a job or go for a higher degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Bachelor of Technology, Biotechnology (B.Tech Biotechnology) which is a 4 year course. The fee structure excluding hostel, mess facilities etc. are: For first year - Rs. 133000. Then every subsequent year it increased by 5%.

Campus Life

2

There are two annual events - Amiphoria and Sangathan. In Amiphoria there are many events, games, stalls as well as modelling competitions. Sangathan is a sports event. Don't expect anything from the clubs.

Admission

I chose this because of the opportunities and because it was in my city and rest other high end colleges were way too high end and would have been more expensive to live there. The admission process is simple, you give a test you're in. Although if you have good percentage in boards, you can skip this. Also you get scholarship for the first year if have high percentage in boards and can continue it in the next years if you can stay at the top of the class.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is good. Faculty is approachable and will help you get internships and jobs. There are many faculty members who are very helpful but there are also some who should just quit. Exams are of two types - mid sems and end sems. questions are mostly from previous year papers.

Night Life

2

Yes you have a gym, cafeteria, a very good library. Hostel curfew is 6 pm i believe for both genders. Locality is not safe to roam at night but the safety inside the campus is good. . ... ... ...

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it average . It is comprehensive but not so useful as in todays world we require more skills than the formulas. It is related to communication and i am very interested in that . It is not very good for real world application but wr do learn about the basics and get hold of how everything work but does not cover advanced technology. Syllabus should be revised and should be more based on skills than theory and rattafication There are 3 to 4 exam per semester which can be very hectic that it feels like we are giving exams every few weeks. Difficulty is not that much but syallabus is really hard to cover amd we can not focus more on skills and projects more of the time we are giving exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
