Good college but has some cons also.

Our college follows modern cirriculum, not that old cirriculum like in many other colleges, here from the 1st semester onwards they started teaching us coding and the needed skills which companies want in placements. It make students industry ready. Semester exams difficulty level varies from easy to very hard but it has no effect on grade actually in our college there is relative grading. No such passing percentage. We have two type of exams in a semester one is Midterm exams which are of 50 marks and other are TermEnd exams which are of 100 marks also there are internals of 40 marks which faculties gives on the basis of attendance, assignments, lab exams , class tests etc. Many students fail to get passed in the exams then they gives supply exams, if unable to clear then then gives back exams.In my opinion this curriculum is outstanding as it is future proof as it involves practical knowledge along with theoritical knowledge right from the beginning, every college should start adopting it. I think so that our college should improve its faculty to student ratio which would definitely help students to excel in their carrer.

In our college it is mandatory for every student to do internship in 3rd year, it has some credits which later on gets added in CGPA. College also helps students in getting internships. They start preparing students from the 1st year acording to the industry level standards.

Campus PLacements in our college are on the descent side. Average placement is approx about 6-8 Lpa. From 5th semester students in our college starts getting placed . In our college many companies visits like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, PaloAlto, cognizant, TCS etc But most of the offers are made by mass recruiters like TCS, wipro and cognizant. Highest college of our college was 52 Lpa which was offered by microsoft. Also there are many big offers like 45Lpa, 42Lpa, 34Lpa etc. Around 70-80% students got placed every year in our college. My plan is to work hard and get placement from on campus only.

Our college has category system when it comes to fee structure i.e, Category 1 fee - 198000 per year Category 2 fee - 307000 per year Category 3 fee - 400000 per year Category 4 fee - 450000 per year Category 5 fee - 500000 per year And these categories are given on the basis of VITEEE rank. I am in category 1 so I am paying 198000 per year. Our hostel fee also varies for different room types and whether it is AC/Non AC . I opted for 3 bedded non AC flat bed and I am paying 159000 for this. This fees includes both hostel and mess fees. This is fees for 10 months. But at the time of admission you need to pay 15000 as hostel admission fees along with 10000 caution deposit. My college do not offer any scholarship or any fee wavier in fees.

Our college conducts many fests including Winter fest, Summer fest, AdVITya and many others. Out of which AdVITya is the biggest fest which held in February, it is a 3 day long fest in which famous singers performs and there are many performances performedby college students. Also we have almost 2 week long Sports fest named "Aarambh" in this students from many oter colleges came to participate.

Hostel facility here is good, as the hostels are newly made so good infrastructure. In room we are given a bed, two lights, separate fan and chair - table for every student, two charging socket for every student. We also have water cooler on every floor which has RO drinking water, washrooms and toilets are cleaned on regular basis. We have a separate hostel councelling, hostel allotment is done every year. During the time of admission you need to pay one time 15000 rupees as hostel admission fees and 10000 rupees caution fees. Mess food quality here is ok-ok, someday it is very good and some day it is very bad. But no doubt everything is very hygenic.

I applied for many other colleges also like IIIT hyderabad, BITS Pilani and many more... In IIIT hyderabd i didn't make through the exam, I qualified bits exam but it's was on the very higher side, out of my affordability. In all the other colleges I was getting it was the best college so I opt for this. For admission in our college you need to qualify VITEEE exam, based on it's score you get admission into college. Also you must achieve atleast aggregate of 60% in PCM in your class 12th.

Here faculty is very qualified, they all are graduated from IIT's. Thay really have a very good knowledge of their domain. Also they are very helpful. here teaching quality is also very good. Here facultu to student ratio in every subject is approx 1:70. But still faculty manages everything very well. In our college we are not allowed to go out of college on regular basis, you need to pass a lot of checking to go out of campus. Just outside the college campus there is not much things as it is situated on the Bhopal-Indore highway in a small village named "Kothri" far away from the city. In campus we have 3 gym for boys and 1 gym for girls which opens in morning from 6:00am to 9:00am and in evening from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm. Also we have many cafetarias which closes by 9:00pm. Our college got closed at 7:00pm for all batches except final year students. We have famous hangout places like Mayuri's cafe and Under Belly cafe. We are not allowed to roam after 9:00pm even in the college campus.
