- I like that "learning with culture and roots" orientation very utmost.
- Secondly, the photography club here "Drishti" is amazing and provides wonderful opportunity to the students.
- Also, there is a NGO sort of Club named as "Udaan" which provides free education and resources to the needy ones children resides in the nearby villages to the University.
Dislikes
- I don't admire the hostel booking process here, sometimes it is very hard due to the continuous crash glitch in that online portal of the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculam is totally relevant as core legal subjects like, Constitutional law, Criminal laws, Contract law, torts etc.,, are foundational and essential for the legal education and these are systematically prevailing here. Apart from that, for the modern law practice, emerging laws like Cyber Laws, IPR, Environmental law and ADR mechanism are also being taught here with comprehensiveness. Also the teaching method is so active here as usually teachers delivers thier lectures through the help of ppt method of teaching. Also, GLA University follows both the trimester and semester system as far as law domain is concerned.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Tuition fee structure of GLA University mathura for the course B.A.LL.B(HONS.) is like, for the 1st year, it is 1,40,000/- INR, for the 2nd year, it is 1,45,000/- INR, for the 3rd year, it is 1,50,000/- INR, for the 4th year, it is 1,55,000/- INR and for the 5th year, it is 1,60,000/- INR. Also Initialy, at the admission time, student has to submit a certain fee amount as security other than the tuition fee which is prescribed by the university and University follows the Scholarship policy of UP Scholarship scheme or policy, through this only, it does provide scholarship to the students.
Campus Life
Right now I am in my third year and i experienced a lot here whther its hostel life, academic blocks' stuff or other things, this collge tells you so many things which are intengible in nature. as far as resources are concerned, library time is fun with learning although I have watched a lot of movies in library at night just for the sake of having AC benefits as my hoste is not a AC one. Apart from this, here are so many clubs where you can enjoy things, clubs like Ninad, Literario, Drishti, Udaan, natraj, Vihiti and more teaches you and builds a solid social character of you.
Admission
My reason to chose this college is that it is like approximately 110km away from my home and secondly, it is situated in Mathura which is sacred place so culture and roots are prevailing high;y in minds as here so many priests used to come and gives the guest lecture which impacts higly in our livelihood, also the overall infrastructure and resources are good here that is why I chose this University.
Faculty
The Faculties here in the GLA University are really good. They are helpful and approachable not only in academics but also in other affairs too. Here, every 5 or 6 group of students (mentees) are being alloted with an individual mentor, every student is having his/her own mentor to whom he/she can put thier greivances.
Night Life
As far as the night life of campus is concerned then the hostel timing for boys is not there but for girls it is mandatory to be in the hostel last by 6.45pm something, And yes every hostel is having its own gym (24*7). There are two or more canteens plus one complex in the campus where one can have food, groceries, fruits etc.
