- Attendance criteria- You have to maintain 70% attendance per sem
- Too many assignments- Sometimes you have too many assignments to do
- Charge extra money for conducting fests and fests are not upto the mark
Course Curriculum Overview
I was fascinated towards biotechnology and reseached about different universities that offer this course. Found out that Jaypee is one of the best university offering this course. I feel they can work more on practical learning more than theoretical part of it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of JIIT Noida is 1.59 Lakhs per sem. This includes tution fees only but there are other facilities available in the campus like the hostel, mess, cafeteria, etc which is additional to the tution fees. Quality of education is good. All classerooms are equipped with projector screens and AC. The teachers are very professional in thier field and that is why the the college offers qulaity education. Hostel fees ranges from 6-10 lakhs for a four year program. There is one time Caution fees as well which is refundable at the end of the course which is 20000/- There isn't any management category available and the fees is same for all.
Campus Life
JIIT has gym, swimming pool, cafeteria, library, courts for basketball, Badminton, table tennis, cricket. All classes are Projector equipped. And the library is really big with computers installed. They have discussion rooms in library as well where people can sit and discuss.
Admission
I did not apply to any other college. But from what I have friends pursuing the sme course from different colleges and this includes Amity, DY Patil,etc but they are like very expensive colleges. They charge very high fees.
Faculty
1:30 is the average ratio. I really used to like lab sessions because they provide you real life scenarios. So doing things practically that we learnt theoretically had its own importance. So per sem there are 3 sets of exams. T1,T2 and T3. T1 and T2 are of 20 marks each and for 1 hour duration. T3 are of 35 marks covering the enitre syllabus and the duration for this is 2 hours.
Night Life
Famous hangout space is Windsor streer. The best local food street. You can get pretty much everything there. The best street food I have ever had. For boys the night life was pretty good but for girls they have restriction of being in the hostel by 10 pm. So girls are not allowed to roam outside later than 10 pm.
