Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course and curriculum is overall very good, instead of doing 3 year B.A and then 3 year LLB after 12th you can directly do B.A.LL.B, the teaching here is more simple and will be easier to understand law as compared to LLB. The College curriculum also includes skill training and field training like Moot Courts and Institute for Mediation and Arbitration. There are also instituted facilities for Judiciary. The only improvement it needs is to include Philosophy and the exams are too unpredictable as it is affiliated to CCS University plus the marking scheme is also bad they give random marks.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship facility is good, you can get it from the college and by yourself also. There isn't any scene of stipends but experience and connections are good. They provide internships in government facilities and you can get intership by yourself also easily through connections and Linkdin in the college. Plus the location is also near Delhi so internships are nice.

Placement Experience

3

The scene of Placement by college is bad, there isn't a good placement as promised, but they do provide internships which are good and you can learn from it. The placement from college is bad, top tier law firms hire very less. But through college learning and the atmosphere it provides, through interships you can bag good placement from yourself only.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has two buildings ony Lloyd Law college and other Lloyd School of Law, LLC fees is 2,80,000/- whereas LSL fees is 2,50,000/-. There is no major difference and even the faculty is same, the students also study in same campus only. There are scholarships also like based on your Clat score they give upto 50 percent scholarship or 12th Marks. Scholarship isn't permanent and you have to renew it every year with 80% attendance and more than 55% semester marks. There are other scholarship also like EWS which is 35% and Beti bachao beti padhao and many more. If you, this fees structure is for BALLB, for Bcom LLB it is much less.

Campus Life

2

The campus life is Nill only, with very less cultural societies and and if existing only few are active. The campus is also small and very strict. The only atmosphere here is for education only. There are functions here but they are once a year thing only. The library is good, with all bare acts and law books, computers and other technological access like wifi and college email are also here. They provide college mail and subscription of services like SCC online which is good.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel PG is good for boys and average for girls. The girls hostel is also good but that is outside campus and expensive. The rooms are nice and well maintained. The only issue is they don't run AC 24 hours, even the fees is for 10 months only. The food is also bad sometimes and to register in the hostel is very easy but if you want to leave it that becomes very difficult, you need to talk to your parents, the faculty won't listen to you, make you run for days and ask for affaidavits, rent deed, NOC etc. The hostels are near hostel only and are in good location. But the things are very expensive nearby.

Admission

The college is one of the best private college for law in the price range, if you aren't getting any NLU you can think of it. There are other colleges as well better than this like Jindal Global but it is very expensive and Symbiosis but it is far away. Lloyd is cheap and in NCR which keeps you closer to Supreme Court and Law capital, you can learn better from here and do internship which others struggle for easily. There is no such entrance test, they take interview but you can het admission easily here.

Faculty

5

The faculty are nice and very knowledgeable, they teach well and the classes are strictly done not like for show only. They do teach and take regular lectures. There are 3 lectures minimum for 1.5 hours per day. A class has around 60 students per teacher and sometimes there maybe joint lectures. The college is actually affiliated to CCS University and exams are really unpredictable. The University also doesn't give marks so be prepared for less marks in exam no matter what you do.

Interview Experience

4

There were interviews but those are for namesake only, you get interviewed to get admissions but the admission process is very easy and you can easily get admissions, they claim that admissions are going to close early and even seats are less but the reality is there are enough seats and admissions happen till November.

Night Life

2

The night life is only for boys and not girls because for girls it is strict to be present before 8 p.m. and to hang out after it they need permission from there parents, if while returning they get late then also they need to make there father's talk to the warden. The girls hostel is inside the campus only but girls can't even roam in campus in night. The boys hostel is out and the rules are for paper only for them, they can get out before 10 pm and return whenever they want. The location is very good with too many places to visit just the issue is hostel and security.

As I'm studying BALLB and the teaching method in our college is pretty nice as they conduct field visits, courts visits and also invites different personalities who Excel in the law field that helps us to understand how the real world works in this field and I really thinks that this college should more focus on their class overall timings sometimes they got really lengthy every year our university conduct 2 exams separately for every semester. and the difficulty level depends on the students preps

As iam a ballb hons student it is a 5 year course we have total 10 semester one semester includes mid term and end terms and internal markings are also there based on teachers choice whether they want presentation or research paper. The subjects are distributed equally and you also get learn a foreign language as a part of summer internship program, we learned german here by the best teacher. The marking criteria of the exam is also good and simple if you are a hardworking student surely you will get 9cgpa and above while others can also manage to get 8-7 cgpa which is good.

So I choose for BBA LLB because I wanted that corporate aspect with law. We are taught nearly every aspect which will or may help us in real world applications or further academic pursuits. The assignments they provide could be improved. Apart from the mid sems and end sems, Class tests and quiz take place as a part of the marking scheme.
