LPU the star college

More of theoritical knowledge than practical knowledge. Curriculum partially prepares us for real-world experiences as we have 9-5 classes. Improvement could be the addition of more practical subjects than theoritical ones. Exams are held once between the mid of sthe emester which levels are moderate to difficult and CAs, which are even of the same level, depending on the teachers assigned.

Companies which come to college and offer different job roles in various field with different job roles. JP Morgan recently visited college with job role of software developer offering 50000-60000INR during internship and 20LPA package with requirement of 8.5+ CGPA with no standing arrears. Samsung with job role of data scientist offering 30000-40000INR and 12-14LPA package. Moonpreneur offering job role of teaching programming languages to students abroad with internship of 6 months for 25000INR atipend,etc.

For B.Tech, students become eligible for campus placements or internships from 3rd year or let's say, 6th semester. Companies visited include JP Morgan, KPIT Technologies, Swiggy, Moonprenuer, Zeus, UTrade, Samsung, etc who take around 30-40 students with JP Morgan taking 10-15 students and Moonpreneur doing mass recruitment. Highest package of B.Tech CSE offered is 53LPA while the average package goes to 8LPA

Year wise course fee for B.Tech is 2.40L while for 4 years including hostel and fooding with laundry it goes upto 1400000-1500000 depending upon accomodation types of hostel. Single seater ac hostel costs 200000INR, 2 seater ac hostel for 140000INR, 3 seater ac hostel for 110000INR and so on upto 4 seaters and dormitories. Scholarship benefits goes upto 40,000INR per semester on tuition fee which is based on LPUNest enterance exam.Admission fee of 10,000 and semester wise exam fee is rupee 4000. Annual fests include One India and One World where students of LPU showcases unity in diversity with different states and countries summing up as one which is held in the month of April. The other one is Coke Studio which is held every year in the month of September and Spectra which is held in the month of September also, technical fests include Technovate which is held twice once in February and the other in November. LPU has around 20 clubs of students who organize fests and other events at university. Students can easily access the benefits of issuing books from library or can go there to study. Library has 5 floors with each floor having discussion rooms,special rooms for PhD scholars and a wifi connection in all floors.

Hostels have various accomodation types which include ac/ non-ac and seater preferences of single, double, three, four or dormitary with attached washrooms and balcony. Hostels also have separate gardens, open-gyms, basketball/badminton courts, tv rooms, study rooms, etc with proper wifi coverage on each and every floor. Mess offers various meals type like north, south, multi-cuisines with a buffet of breakfast, lunch and dinner with delicious dishes and also every hostel has atleast 2 canteens and a departmental store for basic/daily needs. We can book room at the time of admission only. I live in 2 seater ac room which costs 140000 for 10 months which has 2 beds, 2 study table, 2 chairs, 2 almirah, attached washroom and an attached balcony.

I chose this college because of best placements with average placement from B.Tech of 8LPA and and most students getting packages of 10-15LPA. I applied to galgotias, PSIT, CU, Symboisis ABES and many more and even got admission based on CUET score card but LPU offers best placements which is the key factor for long run. Admission is based on minimum 60% marks in class 12th and 10th and also, enterance test names LPUNest with whose score card we can avail other discounts such as scholarships, etc.

Student to faculty ratio is 18:1. Some of the faculties of LPU are really kind-hearted, helpful and provide best guidance to excel in our particular fields while some are so rude , arrogant and do not even treat students nicely with majority being helpful in nature. Faculties treat us as their own family member here and are always approchable in times of any difficulties. My favourite faculty name is Dr.Sachin Sidra sir and Iti Bharadwaj ma'am who have always guided me to the best of their ways and with their guidance i am able to survive here and do lawrels in my field also, they have treated me as their family. Coming to the part of exams, there are 2 Continuous Assessments per semester, Mid Term Exams and End Term Exams or End Term Practicals for practical courses. The exams are moderate to difficult.

Girls are allowed to roam in campus till 11pm at night while the boys have this access the entire night. Students usually roam around in university after haing their dinner or even ride cycles or play badminton etc. LPU also has cafeterias which have 15-20 different shops offering fruits, food, chinese, drinks or sweets. We also have a mall inside the campus and vvarious outlets in that including Dominos, Wow Momos, Belgian Waffle, Subway, etc. The most famous place inside university is the Oven Express or the Campus Cafe Cafereteria.
