- I have liked alot of things mainly the cultural diversity here is too good and also verydents esrossall over India come here therefore there will be an exposure to many cultures and one can learn other language also they can experience every culture
- I have also liked the infrastructure here the classes the labs the hostels and the sports complexes.labs here are equipped with high and efficient machines ensuring the student a quality learning and also the food here is very tasty and also
- I have also liked the academics here the proffesors here are very intelligent they have pursued their pgs and researched in many things
Dislikes
- The first thing I disliked in vit is the crowd I mean the intake here is too high
- And also the fee is a bit too high to afford for middle class students.
- And also the management here is not that good as they introduced a new system in which one can select their hostels based on their cgpa which isn't good for all
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is good.i have taken computer specialization course and this curriculum is too good as it exposes the students into many real world strategies and the real market exposure means the things which are present in the market now means the skills which are in demand.students will be thought all these in demand skills.
Internships Opportunities
The students are eligible for the internships after completing their 8th semester.They will be interviewed for their internship and they will provide you the internship if you clear all the interview rounds and also provided you have good cgpa.students are also asked to do the projects in their 4 th year they will be awarded marks for the projects.
Placement Experience
I'm currently in my second semester the students are eligible to sit for the campus placements from their 8th semester.almost 900 companies have visited the campus last year and the highest package offered is near 1.2crore for two students and many top companies like Google microsoft and apple will come to campus placements in vit
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure in vit is based on the rank one acquired in cuteee exam.The fee structure is also divided into two groups namely A and B A consists of computer engineering and it's specializations and ece and it and the other group contains mechanical civil and chemical engineering the fee is different for both the groups and also the fee is divided into four categories in an increasing way.
Campus Life
The social life here is actually good there will be many clubs and many fests will be held the two of the biggest fests held are gravitas and rivera.gravitas is a technical fest.the library here in vit is a pretty big one and is equipped with many books and students can take the books and should be returned in a specific amount of time
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is actually too good. I have taken a 3 bedded room it's equipped with an air conditioner and a fan and three beds and three study tables and there will be an window for ventillation the hostels are pretty expensive and the meal is great the meals are divided into three veg mess non veg mess and special mess
Admission
I have applied to alot of other collages like mit,amrita and comedk.in mit I have got computer science engineerimg but In a specialization category and in vit I got computer science core and also people said cs core students will be given more priority over cs specialization students during placements
Faculty
The exams in vit mainly are divided into 3 two midterms and one final exam they are called cat and fat.continous assesment test and final assesment test.the cats are of 50 marks and they are reduced into 15 marks and the fat is of 100 marks and is reduced to 40 marks so the cats and fat add up to 70 and the remaining 30 marks will be for quizzes and digital assignments and then the grading system is as follows s,a,b,c,d,e and f.f means fail if a student gets less than 40 marks in fat he is considered as fail
Night Life
The nightlife I'm vit is not that good it's actually pretty bad as students are not allowed to come out of there hostels after 9 pm.There will be many cafterias around the hostels and around the classrooms.thete will be 4 gyms for the mens hostel and 4 gyms for girls hostel and also the gyms are equipped with high infrastructure
