Course Curriculum Overview

2

For me college teaching good and also the course which I took this course is one of the best course which is available in the college yes it is difficult for sure but I have never regret for choosing this course yes the university's timing they make for the college semester exam are very bad they always make exam after 3months which is pretty bad. A semester should be 6months and every student pays a semester thinking it will be a 6months semester but it will be not

Internships Opportunities

2

Literally I don't know about internship available are not from the college because I'm in 1st year currently but my friends who are in 3rd year said there are internship opportunities available in last semester they have gone to kochi for internship and project for their last semester

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester fees should be paid for this course that is 18500 for each semester and for a year it is 37000 and it is a self management college so there is no reservation and fees reduction for SC,ST students. But yes there are some scholarship and privileges for SC,ST students.

Campus Life

3

Well I have limited memories about cultural activities currently it is my 1st year in this college. There is only 4 or 5 program conducted in this college year which pretty bad they didn't conduct any christmas programs etc . As I said there is a limited cultural activities in this college also till now there is no college union in this college which is also bad in my opinion. A college union would have helped to organise more programs in this college

Admission

Yes I was student of robotics engineering but after completing my admission in that college.1 week later my admission got cancelled in that college so I have applied to other colleges and other courses then I have got admission in this college and I took this course

Faculty

4

Friendly teachers we can tell all our doubts and issues about college which is for me very good. Teaching is also good for me my department computer science teacher and staff all are good don't know about others if the college campus become more better then this college can be one of the good colleges in Pathanamthitta district

Interview Experience

3

No i didn't take any interview or discussion to get the admission but friends had a discussion with teachers and staffs to complete their admission. They wanted to take a other course but got admission in this course so the teachers and staff convinced them to join this course instead of that

Night Life

3

There is nothing much to hangout in the college well but we still manages to go outside of the college and hangout mostly in the tea shop outside highway near to college also there is river nearby college which is place we hangout also there are some mountain and sunset viewable places like pretty good things which are for hangouts are available outside the college not in the college well I can say real there is nothing for to hangout in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
