I don't know what cons should i talk about i have loved my university and i ll pursue my higher studies from here too i am glad i got into amu as it tought me how to live life and what i am today.overall its is really good

The exam structure is yearly and formative before the finals and a project which is to be done during winter breaks the best of 2 out of your formative are considered and then they add up to what you score on final

The placement of amu is not that great but not bad also in the year 2019 google and amazon arrived in the campus to select various students amazon selected students from Ba language and google selected engineers

There are various events in Amu apart from studies we have a cec which takes care of all the activities let it be debate concert etc. various college oragize their own fest like zarf for engineers, Art neeche from arts etc.

very inexpensive fees being a central goverment university the fees is extreme low the entire year hostel cost 3k and food for a month is 1k which is very affordable and even discount is provided for students who are bpl

Well i am aware of a scholarship which is given to the 10th pass from the university for scoring 75% marks in their boards to avail this you must have passed 10th with merit and witha copy of result go to the controller they will further guide you on what to do

There are various extra activites from cricket to chess the university has its swimming pool football cricket team and a games commitiee which deals to matter related to games which takes care of the games organized and how they will be doing it

Amu stands on the shoulder of their alumni various alumni provide fund and support to the university frank and debbie is made by a alumi for mba related course also on various matters alumni stand like a wall to protect the heritage of the university

Admission

A all over india written test is conducted then admission is done once the results are out on website you can check your roll number and report for counselling after the process you can choose the stream and continue.

Good college for Degrees

Likes

I like the Teacher behavior and attitudes
I like the Sports curriculum , they conduct sports event monthly
I like the admin office, because it always neat and clean

Dislikes

The hostel and mess food is not good as expected
The placement system is too bad , no proper support
The student facilities is not good , like lifts etc

Placement Experience:

If you are BTech CSE student , you dont need to worry more because they invite good number of companies to take placement , but you need that particular skills to get placed. Almost 40 to 50% student got placement for an average of 4.5 LPA

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

The hospital is huge very and also carry massive patient load .
You can easily develop skill in hospital area due to huge numbers or patient that visit everyday.
They don't miss any classes each and every class will be taken by the teachers every day .

Dislikes

They don't have their college of nursing building.
The hostel is not so good ,food quality is worst .
There are so many restrictions in girls hostel they don't Allow to go home even .

The curriculum of college of nursing is well developed they used ppt and videos for better learning of students as well as they have their own skill labs where students can get new skills and able to reduced their fear .

i dislike thing in my collage are the students are not mature.
i dislike thing are in my collage are in this collage student have to wear a uniform.
i my collage there was a big grounds for different games but the game should we inly during and specific program.

Think before you opt for this college.

Likes

The infrastructure and greenery was really good. Play grounds, running track and a sports building. There were respective charges for availing any sports facility like gym, swimming etc.
College fest was average with the college inviting well known artists like Milind Gabba, Nikita Gandhi, Raftar etc.
Girls- boys ration is good but the quality of students and environment is below average.

Dislikes

None of the teachers were highly trained to teach subject matter. The administration was always finding ways to fine students may it be for attendance or any hostel related expenses.
Hostel food was real trash. After even complaining on a regular basis it was upto no good.
There were many restrictions for hostel students like for even going out we needed passes and had to call our parents, they don't provide leave if u want to go home during the session.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are been done but they force u to sit for non core companies. Like I was doing BCA and I had to sit for slaes, marketing and in field sales persons job interviews. Mass eecruiters like infosys and wipro also came which they take like 200 to 300 students.

First of all I would like to tell you about the staff of my college. The staff of my college is very polite.
The atmosphere of my college is very clean
My college also has the facility of extra classes and library.

Dislikes

It is better if the environment is clean as well as cool then I face a problem of trees.
And if there are more than one lecturer in the staff, it will be easier to have lecturers for one subject.

I decided to choose this course because I wanted to know deeply about the inner workings of plants or humans or this is my desire which can be fulfilled by taking this course.

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any). I applied for this college only. Highly affordable fee of course and hostel fee. Hostel provides us so many facilities in a very basic pay of 1500 per month including mess and other things. For m.ed we have to prepare for an entrance test. Forms of amu m.ed are generally out during january- march period. The paper is of 100 marks, only mcq, based on core papers of b.ed. the cutoff is around 55+ for general+external candidate and 40+ for internal. The admission process is smooth and easy.
