Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this branch of engineering as it is a combination of both core engineering and software engineering The exams are conducted once 2 months and the internal exams are easy to moderate while the final exams may be difficult depending on our preparation

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid a fees of 85000 per year including registration fees tuition fees development fees lab fees And wehave to pay 3500 per semester For government aided it is 24000 per year Currently I am not opting any scholarships

Campus Life

Kriya an annual technical event conducted by students union and intrams an annual cultural event conducted by team dramatix and techusic There are other events like kalam prodothon atoms conducted by various departments clubs and associations

Admission

I also applied MIT CIT and psg I feel so happy that I got admission in psgct as it is one of the highly respected institutions in tamilnadu The admission process is through tamilnadu engineering counselling tbea

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is 1:54 The relationship between faculty and students are strict yet understanding There are 2 internal exams and a final lab and semester exam The course curriculum is updated and in accordance with current market

Night Life

There is an internal gym cricket and football ground inside our hostel premises We also have vending machines at each block and a departmental store in our hostel There are many cafes fun spots to hangout near our college including the funmall

Your Concise review and guide to nit trichy

Placement Experience:

The students start sitting for placement from 6th semester i.e the end of third year itself, while many students start getting job offers at the start of 7th semester itself. The placememt percentage here is very good it is around 90% amd the average placement for 2025 placement session is around 15.76 lakh or maybe higher since results are not made available to us ye, the highest offer is around 55lakh+ according to some fourth year students. The number of companies visiting us are many; they include tech giants such as google,microsoft,amazon, sony, samsung, NVIDIA, quolcomm, AMD, Yahoo and highliting companies are Ceat, Volvo, Wolkswagen, LT, Bosch, mcafee and the list goes on and on and on. i plan on getting a job and then going for higher studies in a foreign university.

Placement Experience:

Students sit for placements from the seventh semester. Placement Experience:

avg package is 12.56 lakh in mechanical branch placements is overall very good above than 87% . highest was around 62 lakhs but in circuital branch . i want a good hand salary job after that i want to give rest to my parents .

NIT TRICHY- COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best part of this college. This college provides a very good placements both on and off campus to its students the placement percentage is also very good for all the branches ofcourse the placement packages are higher for students of CSE AND ECE branches but others also get a very good package. Students get eligible for placements from the 4th year some even get a PPO from the company they do their intership at in the third year. Big and Prominent comapnies visit our college such as Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Tata Steel, Qualcom, NVIDIA and more recently they gave around 900 offers to the students the highest package was aroung 65 lpa and the average package stood at 16 lpa for the college which is very good as compared to other colleges. The student placement percentage is also very good where aroung 85-90 percent of the students gets placed evey year in defferent sectors like software, Data Science, Management and Core sectors of their branch.

I applied many colleges like anna university, bit, act, cit, mit etc.. But i give first preference for psg. In Tamilnadu psg is the top most college in coimbatore for study amd placements.
