Bcom with ACCA at ISME

The course curriculum is well structured to cater to the exams as well as with our career path as they make it very resourceful so that we are prepared for real world scenarios as well. It includes case studies, research papers, projects, group discussions, presentations etc so we are well trained to facilitate in the real world. The exams are also spaced apart adequately so that we students can prepare for it well

The college encourages us to actively pursue various internships and roles in sales executive, business analyst, data analyst. They provide us with value added courses like business tools, digital and social media analytics, financial planning and investment management so that we are ready for internship roles

Eligibility for placements start from the 5th semester. Every student is given a fair opporunity in landing placements. Some of the companies to be mentioned are Grand Thornton, KPMG, Deloitte, Federal Bank, Yes bank etc. The average package is 6-8 LP. After I get my degree I want to sit for the placements and work and gain experience while also trying to prepare for CAT and getting and MBA as well

Yearly it comes to 180000 and the total comes 645000, we get merit based scholarship to students above 85% in their 12th get a deduction of 30000 from their yearly fees. There is a defense based scholarship as well.

The overall campus life is great and the college always provides us with various opportunities to explore and find out interests and actively pursue them. We have intra college and inter college fests that happen every alternate semester. Our library is well equipped with various books on various topics and by top authors and publishers and we have a partnership with IIM for access to their electronic library and students are allowed to visit the library from 8:30am to 6:30pm. Our classrooms are equipped with smartboards that help have an interactive and digital training method that keeps the students engaged at all times with great audio and visual experience. We have a lot of sports facilities and have proper amenities for the same as well, we've got football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, throw ball etc and they take us to participate in various tournaments to showcase and test our skills and compete with other top colleges. There are student run clubs and activities and innovation is always encouraged to bring forth newer ideas.

I had applied in various other colleges like Symbiosis Pune, Christ University, St. Joseph's College of Commerce, but I chose ISME over them because it is a really great International Business School that is one of the major college that is growing at a very fast rare among the top colleges and it was close to my residence and I have a really good balence over my college and personal life. I did not get rejected from any of the other colleges and I joined here because of the high standards and the good balance which keeps me motivated. The admission process which I went through was an interview and I got it in my first attempt and it went smoothly and you can crack it easily with basic knowledge and some current affairs.

The faculty to student ratio is 1:12. The faculty have a great experience and are approachable at all times and they are always happy to help us and guide us regarding all matters and they are very supportive... I like all the faculties here and my experience with them have been great and I'm always greatful for how impactful they are in my life. We have 3 internals exams and they are of moderate difficulty and if we stay focused in class, we can easily pass flying colours. The curriculum is also up to date with the current world scenario as well as what is relevant with respect to the exams and it is well structured to cater to a knowledge rich career.

For my admission process, I just had a personal interview and it is easy to crack them with basic subjects knowledge and current affairs. The faculties conduct the interview and if you have a good knowledge on your topics in 11th and 12th and just be confident and honest when answering them. We need to have 65% in 12th to apply for the admission.

During various events that take part in college, there is Dandiya night, DJ night and students can also plan activities like IPL match screening etc. We have large open cafeteria and a rooftop cafeteria where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner along with various other eatables. We have an amphitheatre where students can gather and plan activities or come together to have a good time. Hostel timings are 6am to 9pm.
