Course Curriculum Overview

my course is bachelor's of technology in computer science. The course curriculum is accurate but i feel they should include aptitude classes from second year so that students can have their concepts clear

Internships Opportunities

internship opportunities are average here. the companies are mostly startup that offer stipends like 10-15k for 6 months in cities like delhi, pune, bangalore etc. after that they offer jobs based on internships performance

Placement Experience

students get eligible from 7th sem for the on campus placements. Placement rate is not very good. only startup's and below average tech company comes and rest are sales company. And as a tech student it's not good for me

Fees and Financial Aid

my academic fees was approx 8-9 lakhs ( for 4 year) Girls get an annual 10% girls scholarship. They also offer merit based scholarships based on your high school and intermediate percentages. Domicile scholarships are also included

Campus Life

campus life is good here and the social culture is also very nice. Fests are conducted every year and celebrations for every festival are done. Talent hunts, hackathons, trips are also conducted where students from all departments can participate

Admission

i came to visit the campus and felt the environment really good and i met some of the faculty members of my department who were also very generous. They have great labs and all facilities present. i applied to chandigarh university too and got selected there but it was more expensive as compared to uttaranchal university thats why i choose to come here

Faculty

faculty members and all the teachers including assistants and lab members everyone is good and helpful. They will clear all your doubts and also help you if you're confused about your career or anything else.

Night Life

mostly students favourite place would be cafeteria and food court where they can have a good time with friends having snacks and enjoying music too. Hostellers are allowed till 10pm to have a walk inside campus

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the University is 80%. For btech 85% students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 40Lakh CTC. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited in our university. Some of top recruiters are TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Federal Bank, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj, Adobe, Wipro, HCL and many more.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

College is very good as per campus area , college life ,and placements too.

Placement Experience:

Placements at our college were very good because all students got placed at top companies. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Internship opportunities were also provided. Our college was very good in terms of placements compared to other colleges.

Management is not good at all at the hill university Staff and the faculty members are not experienced. The alumni are there on the jobs of faculty The student who do the Mtech from graphic era gets the job here only as a assistant faculty. And there is no work experience .

I went for this college mainly because it is just little far from my home which is better because it near my house in just kilometres only that's why I go for this college and admission process for this college as they give scholarship of girls 5%. Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges.
