Likes

The campus of the college is very big there are many buildings for each and every department students can enjoy their college life they have two canteens where they can spend at there time. Also the infrastructure of the college is well maintain.
Department aeronautical engineering have good faculty member
College club like IEEE rotract club as well as cultural club

Dislikes

The placement sale of the college is not so good
Departments of the college don't take any initiative for the placements
There is no air conditioning and the department as well as buildings

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course and syllabus are equivalent to they talk College of engineering but practicals are not conducted on that level so students do not get that exposure they should get. Many industry visits should be done

Placement Experience

There is very less placement in our college also the placement cell of the college is not so good also in the core branches the IT companies come to interview they should sent students for interviews in core companies as well as private companies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the college is rs 1 lakh 20000 per year and they provide scholarships on the basis of reservation as well as tuition fee waver scheme for OBC categories 55000 and SG category is around 10 to 15000 the tuition scheme for students eligible

Campus Life

Overall campus experience is excellent they have very big ground as well as to canteens make the students to live their college life to the best. Also they have many clubs like IEEE, rotract and cultural club

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very bad and the mess is not so good the quality of food is okay but the taste is very bad students will not enjoy the food as well as they have to rely on the street food to improve there taste

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

This college had many departments and facilities other than many colleges I applied for also the college chartered a branch in 2009 and other college recently the started the branch that is the reason why I choose his college

Faculty

The faculty of our department is well manner and well behave the student teacher experience is very good teacher clear all the doubts of students but they cannot focus on each and every student there must focus on the basics but they are not able to do death

Night Life

The nightlife around our college is not so much because of security issues but overall security is good there are no mishaps taking place. But the nagpur night life is good students can roam at night.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Best college review

I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
