VIT Bhopal: A decent college for your needs

I mainly like to investigate things and wanted to enter the field of cyber security which is the main reason for me choosing this course. Furthermore, i have a keen interest in digital and cyber forensics which makes me choose this course even more. The exams are good as they are, except for the timings which are sometimes pretty bad. Sometimes, i have 2 exams in a day and sometimes it even happens that i have 4 exams in two days which is just crazy, anyways overall curriculum is decent

after the completion of third year students become eligible for campus placements companies which visit are infosys cisco tata amazon and many more highest package for 2024 was 52 lpa and the average package is 11 LPA 60-70% students gget placed after my degree i plan to get a solid 9-5 job earning a decent living of my life and serving my parents

Year wise fees to be paid is 471250 Rs per annum, and in the time of admission, 15000 Rs Hostel Admission Fees is taken which is non refundable, 15000 Rs caution deposit is also taken, for councelling they take 5000 rs and for the viteee exam they take around 2000-2500 rs an additional 3000 rs is taken as caution deposit

campus life is good, social groups are pretty active and sports and ectracurricular life is decent but not too good, annual fests and other events are really good, overall campus life is good library is pretty good as it offers all varities of books and novels and magazines and newspapers they also have a digital library to access it digitally

meal quality and menu is pretty dogshit in block 1 registeration process is easy as you can do it on vitbhopal.ac.in as per the instructions given there, and the hostel affordability is decent if you get a decent rank there are many PGs near the college itself within a 1 kilometre radius so theres no issues regarding PG's

I dont exactly remember which colleges i applied to but i remember that a few of them accepted me but my parents wanted me to go to vit as my elder brother graduated from the same college (chennai campus) which is why they had more trust on vit over other colleges Other colleges which rejected me, i got rejected maybe because i couldnt qualify or maybe cuz i had low marks for my college if u want to enter in m tech programs only state board or other board percentage is taken for consideration if we want to opt for btech then we can apply for viteee exam which is held every year

It depends on the faculty, whether they are approachable or not, some faculties are very strict and rude while most of them are good behaviored and talk politely with the students. Almost 70 out of 100 faculties are good, some of them are blacklisted by the students and are always avoided when the course registeration goes on. Mainly, two exams are conducted: mid terms and end terms. both of them are difficult and in mid terms paper is of 50 marks which is shortened to 30 when calculating overall marks and end term is of 100 marks which is later shortened to 30 marks. end terms are comparitively more difficult to attend.

gyms are pretty decent hostel timings are from 4 am to 8:30 pm in block 1 and 4 am to 9 pm in premium or other blocks famous hangout places are near premium blocks and mayuri mess or near block 1 at the garden
