- First of all I like the management of the college it is well managed and disciplined.
- I like the Security concerns of the college that they provide us they give us all the proper security aspects so that we would feel safe in the college there are lot of amount of security guards.
- The third thing which I like is the development of the college since this college has been built in 2015 the development process is currently ongoing the phase three is going on
Dislikes
- The first thing which I disliked is the conventional way of teaching like teaching only the academics rather than focusing on the skills.
- There is a huge disappointment causing the N S Distribution in this college.
- Due to the college geographical conditions it lies in the South India the food taste does not acquire our taste buds there is a little bit barriers we can see in the food aspects due to the taste of the food.
Placement Experience
Placements at IIITDM Kurnool Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7 th semester. While IIITDM Kurnool is still growing companies like TCS Infosys, L and T and startups visit the campus. The highest package has gone up to 20LPM mostly for software roles while the average package is around rs 6 to 8 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I'm in the OBC category I will be paying 81,000 inr per semester which means its approximately 1.62 lakhs per year as a tuition fees there are other fees to like hostel fees miss face and insurance and development developmental fees library fee etc there are one time residential fees admission fees live fees per yearly and in case of my patent some batmates are from open category some are from sc category some are from st category they have different criteria for filling
Campus Life
Campus life at IIITDM Kurnool with festivals, clubs, and modern infrastructure. The main events include fest and cultural fists, usually held in Mars. The library has a good range of books journals and digital resources through more physical books could be added. Classrooms have smartboards projectors and wifi
Hostel Facilities
The hostel and the Miss Festivities which are provided in the iitdm kernel campus is very magnificent I personally really liked a lot I got the double sharing room which was very much affordable at the very cheap price we have to pay 7000 inr yearly for the hostels and the Miss fees varies according to the tender currently the miss fees are 19,000 per semester which makes approximately 38,000 yearly the mess food is affordable it tastes moderate its ok to have it I have got a hostel which name is Kalaam Hostel in our hostel there are 4 floors excluding the ground floor there are two wings into the hostel in my wings there are 4 toilets and five bathrooms .
Admission
I choose IIITDM Karun or NIT and state colleges due to its design focused curriculum modern labs and faculty while initiatives offer better placement IIITDM K provides strong research opportunities I applied to NIT and IIIT but missed top choices due to JE main rank IITDM Kurnool cut off was within range so I joined through JOSAA counselling. Admission requires 12 pcm and ge main the process was smooth but competitive. Though placements need improvement iiitdm kernel is growing fast with great potential.
Faculty
Faculty ratio and relationship the faculty to spend ratio is one to 15 ensuring decent interaction most professor are approachable holding regular doubt sessions and replying promptly to emails stand out faculty include Dr Srinivas for his practical classes and Professor Reddy for his mentorship and active project some juniors praised for simplifying complex concepts
Night Life
Since our campus is on a hill called Jagannathakattu there isnt many places to vendor around out of the campus at night hence the nightlife of the campus stays in the campus and we enjoy the campus nightlife in the campus being in the campus near our hostel. The gym and the sport facilities are available to us till 9:00 PM
