Life In IIITDM KURNOOL

I have choosen ECE course which is having a bright future in the up coming days. And now there are no jobs available for the CSE and AIDS people and all are recruiting the ECE students, so I have choosen this branch. According to my knowledge I think this course is a little bit hard in comparison to all other courses because we will be having all circuits in the entire study. All we have to do is that we strong with basics and practice what ever the faculty members say.

Infosys, amazon, apple, flipkart, are some companies which come for the intership. And the phd people who are in the campus will be getting stipend by the college members. And for the project we do the college members only provide us the money to complete the project.

Basically the placements will happen in final year and there will a good number of placements. The thing is that we have to maknia good cgpa and good talking skills for the job opportunities. The highest package is 10LPA. The percentage of students getting placements will be changed every year because it depends on the performance of the students.

The hostel fees include Hostel admission fee,hostel seat rent,hostel maintenance charges,hostel development fee, dining charges in advance. Hostel fees regarding all the semester is same i.e., ?34,500 per semester. The tution fee will be ?80,000 for open & OBC category. There is no tution fee for PwD,SC,&ST. The tution fee will be same for all the 4 years. There will be an additional fee which includes internet &ICT fee-?1,200, library fee-?1,000, student activity centre fee-?700, student technical activities-?500, examination fee-?250, medical insurance & PHC-?2,000, sports fee-?2,250. In total it will be ?7,900 per each semester.

We are having a good number of events held in the campus. And the biggest event held in our campus is SOLASTA which will be held for 3 days and all the outsiders are allowed and clg members are going to invite the big celebrities for the event to make more energetic and there's going to be a good dj and the food will be provided there itself by keeping food stalls the college is going to give money and students will go out for the funds. The event will be held very well it will be in next level from what we have expected

In the rooms that they have allocated we have to stay 3 persons per a room and the hostel room feel cool and comfortable. But the thing I don't like in this college is food it won't be spicy and I like spicy food. But we can eat food in the cafeteria and food stalls the food in these places will be good.

I got 97.8 percentile in JEE mains and I am a OC candidate I got seat in IIITDM Kurnool. There are many other colleges but I have choosen this college because it is near to my home state and there will be many people of our same mother tounge and it will be easy to survive over here. With the percentile I got I have gotten ECE course and if we get around 97 percentile we will be getting CSE course and it will be very easy for other cast people to get the admission in this college even by getting a percentile of 90.

We are having a good faculty members with great knowledge and experience. They all care about the students and their needs. They try to know what the students need and they try to solve them before we ask. All the faculty members are well educated and well behaved. My favourite faculty member is Dr.Naresh Babu. He never leaves a student in any trouble and always fights for the student welfare. For each semester we are having 6 subjects and it won't be that difficult if we study properly. The toughness depends on our preparation.

The campus is very big at night times the climate is well and good, evryone are interested to do walking after their dinner and there's a tv room in which we can sit and watch movies and have some fun. We are also having indoor sports nearby the hostel and we can even play them. After the completion of all the classes in the evening from 5PM we can have a free tym and we can have a lots of fun in campus during night times.
