Course Curriculum Overview

All courses are apt for current conditions of india. study material is apt internship oppurtunities you obtain from it is vast. Code book standards are been followed in the class for teaching purpose best

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intership you need to apply through CDC or you have apply from outside the college where you have high chance of getting placed. Projects can be done under the professor and have adequare reseach facilities at the campus

Placement Experience

Placements are fine but a bit low package for core companies. Larsen and toubro and ramboll type companies do visit the college almost more than 50 percent studentsget placed in core and non core combined.

Fees and Financial Aid

80000 per semester. per month scholarship is 12400/-. Tuition fee varies per person depending upon the Caste. Second year the fee will reduce to 50000 per semester. This fee in inclusion of all the subsets mentioned above.

Campus Life

fest like spring fest and kshitij happen in the month of january you can enjoy a lot library has number of journals to refer using institute wifi sports ground and inter IIT tournaments will be conducted

Admission

This college is big and perfect for student to enjoy and learn at the same time. I havent rejected from other colleges but prefereed this over others. you need to write the gate exam and get a decent rank and apply for councelling.

Faculty

faculty to student ratio is 1/5. All th faculties are knowledgable and effective. There will be 5 subjects per semester and no exams in the second year of the college you need to do the project thesis and submit it at the end

Interview Experience

There was no intervew as such. You need to attend Gate examination and get a decent rank below 1000 to secure seat in IIT You can prepare for gate by taking coaching from Made easy or Ace institutions and crack the exam.

Night Life

Gym is provided in college with a 1500/- fee and it is free in your respectiv ehostels. hostel are there and there is no in timings for those hostels places like gymkhana, new tikka are the ones people do hangout

This course offers 4 semesters which a 2 year course and anyone who is pursuing this course is eligible for the placements after successfully completing his first year course work. On an average approx 40-50% of the student get placed and those who dont get off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is quite good. Only need the guidance which course is good of us. Syllabus is quite lengthy. I think theoretical knowledge is good but need of some practical knowledge is required. Laboratory work should be divided so that each students experience the best.

IIT Kharagpur Experience: Academics, Culture, and Beyond

Placement Experience:

Almost 100% placement if you consider on campus and off campus placement both.most of the students go for software development or data science roles. Some goes for assistant professor roles in private engineering colleges. After third semester students are eligible for placement upto completion of their course. Major companies that hire are IBM, kal atm, siemens, arrise solution, virtusa, BEL,meesho, tiger analytics, ltimindtree, hcl technologies, hero fincorp, marcedes, SOA, mpocket, air india, morgan stanley, Just dial, Ering, HSBC, Bank of America and lot more. Offer ranges from 8lpa to 35lpa. My plan is to join job after completing my Mtech. Almost everyone got placement here.

Placement Experience:

At the end of 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 1000 of company visit campus every year in January and December month. Placement takes place in two form one in December and other in January. Like IBM, puma, ICC bank, Deloitte, ABG, Lenovo, etc. highest package is about 2.68 crore per annum, average 15lpa According to different profiles. Students should have more than 8.5 cgpa for good placements. I will join a good company after completing the degree.

I chose IIT kharagpur because IITs are the top colleges in india whereas my college IIT kharagpur is ranked 4 in India among all the other IITs. It is the first IIT established in our country. It carries its legacy and pride forever. We get the best education here and good placements. One can enter this college through josaa councelling. We need to qualify jee mains and then jee advanced exams. After coincelling, we get the college according to our rank. I applied for both IIT madras and IIT kharagpur.
