Course Curriculum Overview

3

My course is based on research line in different four parts which are medicine, industrial, agriculture and marine . So in this course physical lab work is main and i am good at practicals that influence me to choose this course. This application performance the main role in our life on every bases of life and further academic pursuits take us as a scientist or researcher. There should be more practicals and more practicals exams for our improvement. There should be at least 2 months gap in each exam in a 6 month of a semester. So we can prepare nicely.

Placement Experience

3

There is campus placement provided by our university but for my course I would say it's not that good. Eligibility criteria is generally 7 CGPA . Some well known companies that visited are pepsi , Cadbury, Nestle etc. Average package is about Rs.400000 . I plan to seat for both on campus and offcampus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of complete course is Rs.700000 . Yes it increases gradually every year . In 1st year the fees was Rs.165000 and in 2nd year Rs.175000 . All the fees related to academic are included in that only apart from this exam fees are taken seperately during admission. There are scholarships provided on basis of need but students have to maintain certain cgpa aa to fulfill criteria.

Campus Life

3

Overall campus life would've been good. there are cultural festival and tech festival once in a year. The faculties and technological provisions within the class room are provided . There are clubs based on every sports and extracurricular activities in the campus so the exposure is good. Within the club each club also run there social group and social accounts on social media.

Hostel Facilities

2

In room there is 1 table , 1 almirah and one bed. Meal is overall good but some time it can be bad / average. We register hostel by the college portal and it is pretty expensive. So hostel is safer than the pg because our college is in middle of highway and pg started from 10 km from our college.

Admission

I applied for delhi university in food technology and I got admission in that but because I am more interested in research so I ditched that and choose btech biotechnology in gla University. There is nothing wrong it's just the course is not there in the college I want to get admission in. There is no such vigorous process , there is an online entrance exam through which we get admission

Faculty

3

Faculties are average not that bad but not that good , you can go for better options . Faculty to student ratio is pretty good since a section is divided into subsection for tutorial classes and labs so that teacher can focus on each student. There are two theoretical exams each semester, mid terms and end terms which can be unpredictable sometimes

Night Life

3

There are gyms in each hostel wheith it is a girl hostel or boy's hostel. There are cafeteria in each part of our campus and many library and study rooms for students. For girls hostel timings are 8 to 6:45 And for boys it's is 8 to whenever they want to come in hostel. So there are two ground where students like to sit and many places like food court , chai spot and in courts
