Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are lot cousrses which are included this year as an autonomous institute and they are very relevant to the industry based learning. In first sem we got to learn about "Design and Realisation" a course directly developing your skill as a graphic designer on autocad. Meanwhile in 2nd sem we are learning Data Structure, Python and Iot project based learnig which are directly connected to comprehensive for industries. Some teahers can be changed like of DS and Maths as they are not that much serious in class. The timing in end sem exam is of 3 hours which is very enough as per difficulty level.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are lots of internships offered to students through college like through internshala and internveda students can apply for it as per there skills. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Flipkart , Wipro etc offer varied variety of internship to 2nd or 3rd year students. Various projects are given to students to make and showcase them to college, One of the project (A Solar Car ) has been patent by the college.

Placement Experience

3

From 6th sem , students are allowed to sit in placements drive in college. Airtel, Colgate, Cisco, Tcs, Wipro and many others service - based companies come and take students in mass. I dont know the number of offers made. Last year a student got 21 lpa package in a product based company and the lowest was 2.5 lpa in a service - based company. Almost 80-85% students get placed and they are earning well. I am also planning to get a good job in product based MNC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed fees structure for my college is around 145999 rupees per year. There is no semester wise fees provision. Along with that, 8000 rupees are taken for exam fees conduction ele, books ,medications are included in academics. Admission fees are the academic fees , no extra charges while 1000 is taken for security. There is no lab fees, once you paid academic fees, you are eligible to use all the facilities of college. There is no management quota in the college. You have to come through jee or cuet only. There are fee waiving concept also which anyone can get if they get the college through counselling fulfilling the criteria. there are the som friends of mine who came through fee waiver, so he paid only 39000 rupees of the year while all others including me paid 145999. There are various scholarship opportunities like state gov scholarship which provide 50-60k /year for general and obc while sc-st get 1 lakh/year as scholarship. Merit based scholarship is also there in college like if u topped the college in any of branch, your fees will be waived fo the year.

Campus Life

4

In march, the annual fest is held every year called as "Epoque". There is only one fest happens here. There is Central Library in the college which is very good and unique. you can get max of books while can sit there for hours and use the socket, table and water. There is smart boards connected in classrooms , there are socket on each desk so that you can charge your laptops and phones there, there are 2-3 AC's in a classroom which make sure to maintain the temperature. There are many inter college sport events happen , in which the Rann is very famous while there are lots of events , sports happens every year. Yup there are almost 20+ clubs operated all by students and handle the social media of the collge as well. We have our own portal cyber vidya as well

Admission

I came through Aktu counseling of Jee. I selected 3 colleges - IET lucknow, Knit sultanpur and this Kiet Ghaziabad. I got this and ultimately, it became best decision till now atleast in my life. The autonomous prestige changed its way of teaching and couses as well which looked best for me. Other Aktu colleges are still through aktu so they ave same traditional course structure while we have new practicality-based subjects. I chose 3 colleges but got this as my Jee rank was 1.5 lakhs, so couldnt make in iet lucknow, landed here. There are 2 ways to get admission ,through jee or cuet only.

Faculty

4

There is 70;1 ratio of teacher in the college. The faculty is very well educated and have prestige degree as well. Some faculties are the alumni of the college who came just after the college . There is very fine relation between teacher and students as teachers are very friendly and behave very good. There is Pinky Saxena mam, who taught us mathematics in first semester, I liked her the most as she was most humbled mam of the college and in academics she did and doing very well results in collegee as well. There is also a teacher in second sem of mathematics -Pramod Sharma, I did not like him as he is very arrogant. There are basically 3 types of exams- CA, Mid sem, and End sem. They are very much comfortable, generally you can pass them studying 2-3 days only seriously. The college is autonnomous so failing ratio is almost 0.

Night Life

4

I don't have hostel but still my friend tells me that in evening students go to gym made seperately in college, while there are 4-5 cafeterias made there's a huge library made, public can visit the college till 5pm after that only hostellers are allowed. Hostel life is quite simple and good i'd say. As they dont have big campus still the sorted one. You can hangout in healthy hut, a good cafeteria place

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
