Likes

Infrastructure of lovely professional University is awesome.
Teachers are helping and they will provide the best suited path.
I listened that placement opportunities is also good now I am in 4 sem so I don't know the actual facts.

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very low in cse, I don't know about other branches.
The way to teach student is not that much is good need improvement.
Schedule of classes is very busy so don't get time for other activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

In first and second year I don't think so that some courses are related to real world use after 2 year courses are good like networking and operating system and dsa which are very usefull for us to get placement.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My total fees is 240000 per year but I got scholarship and now I pay 184400 per year. It is little expensive but other private colleges don't offer that much placement opportunities that' why Ichoose this college. Other expenses include pg and travel cost is about 120000 per year.

Campus Life

In this college all time events organised and activities goes on but I live outside of campus so my College life is not good. In Library lots of books are available and you issue those books . We taught by projector in class rooms and if a student runs club then definitely it impacts college life.

Admission

We need to give lpunest exam for admission in lovely professional University. And got confirmed admission in jhansi college but I was getting different Branch not cse so that's why I came this college.

Faculty

Exam system is good and marking scheme is also good but previously mocks were there now mocks have been removed from every course which is not good for all students and all ca are compulsory which is quite disappointing.

Night Life

So in night boys can wonder in campus or outside of hostels but there are some restriction for girls . And if we talk about security then hostels are very safe and secure place . We can go to gym at a give time slot but can go in cafeteria at any time.

Placement Experience:

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

LPU through a hostelers lens

Placement Experience:

From sixth semester onwards the students become eligible for college placement. Companies such as Tcs, corizo, wipro visit for placements , highest packages reach around 1 cr and average is about 10 to 15 lac for students with good scores

A Comprehensive Review on College Life, Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities provided are moderate in compariosan to other colleges and they are failry good in comaprison to the private unis.Most of the students based on their academics and skills become eligible for placements in their 5th semester.Both MNCs and startups visit the college and the average package ranges form 8-10 lpa and highest package can touch crores.The percentage of student getting placed is aslo good though i dont lnow the exact statistics. My plan is to go for placements during and after my degree.

Four Years of Growth , Grit and Glory

Placement Experience:

In Chandigarh University you are being elligible to sit in the placement from the end of the 6th semester . A large no. of companies visit the unversity daily for all type of departments talking about my department , companies like Zopasmart , JTG , EY , JP Morgan , TCS , Cognizant , Deloite and many other companies came for the college comapnies with ann average comapny selected upto 10 -12 students . Till now the highest package offered is 37 LPA for the role of software developer . Talking about the no. of students placed from the total students in the batch i would say less then 30% percent of the total students have been placed from the university campus placements till now . Curently i am also focusing on the campus placements to get a start to know more about the corporate world , If i am unable to get a campus placement the i ll go for offline interviews and spends 4 to 5 years in the field after that i ll start my own buisness .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

I have applied for MITS Gwalior but when I have searched about that college I got to know that there is no coding culture and mainly focuses on theory so I have not applied for it. Many students choose these colleges bcz they saw big names on paper like cloud, database, python, java, linux but in reality they dont teach properly after admission many faculties skip practical portion covers only theoritical portion that fells worst to students and after 9am to 5pm classes student feels tired and not able to do self study.
