JSS- Good or Bad

Coure cirricuum is too outdated and old-fashioned where in first year concepts of 11th and 12th are made to study. From second year department wise studies start but then also some subjects like energy science are made to study to computer science students. Programming is made to study in C language that is not even used nowdays in growing world of AI. So,overall course is just for degree here.

Placements in our college is decent and its ROI os good as compared to so called fancy colleges where fees is too much and placement is around 5 lpa. Average package of 4-5 lakh per annum is here. Many companies like Samsung,JP Morgan visit here but 1 or 2 candidates are selected by these, rest all come as mass recuriters, like samsung hired electronics students for 13 lakh per annum. Majority of students who got good package have opt for off campus placements.

During admission first year students have to pay 117000+ 20000 (registration fees) that has to be paid during seat allotment after UPTAC Counselling. From second year onwards fees is 119850 /year. Also there is 7500 examination fees to be paid to AKTU University every year as semester exams are conducted by AKTU University. There are financial aids also available,if you apply for scholarship and your family income is less than 200000 per annum then you get the scholarship based on that by U.P. Government.

There is only one fest conducted in May in high summer,so it makes the fest very boring and worse. No artist come here in fests,its various societies who perform and make the fest some enjoyable. Only garba nights or dj nights are conducted once in ayear which is happening a litte bit. Societies and clubs are there for everything here and seniors there help you groom yourself there. Many societies are like- Verve,Divercity,Quanta,GDSC,MMIL,NCS,Spade,Akshargyan,Oorja,etc.

I got above 1lakh rank in JEE MAINS so in this rank, many other colleges do not provide admission or there we get lower branches,so I applied in AKTU Counselling and JSS is good college in terms of its location as it is located in Sector 2,Noida which makes it more appealing to students due to great work opportunities. Admission in JSS is done here through AKTU Counselling and if there is seat available then it will be allotted to you.

Facuties are good and most of them are phd holders but ony problem isss that main management and teachers are from south so there accent becomes barrier in communication. Some faculities are really good and supportive as they mange your attendence when you are actually doing something of your own, if you talk to them and that you are doing internships or creating projects.

There is no nightlife in college as girls and boys cannot roam around in campus after 9 p.m. Also day scholars are not allowed in college after 7pm and on holidays. New year eve is only for hostelers and for 1 hour only and no day scholars of same college allowed even. So, overall nightlife and campus life after college timings is not good here.
