Journey to Ahmedabad University

The course curriculum is well designed with the opportunity given to the student to do a minor degree with a major degree and can also take different course offered throughout the campus anf every course is well designed. The student need to complete a total of 146 credits within the span of 4 years.

Their are different internship opportunities available at university provided by career development centre (CDC) during the summer break for a time span of 3 months and the companies offered different roles like software developer Intern, AL-Ml Intern, DevOps Intern etc. The companies came for the internship opportunities were Infoware, Beyond Box, Statusi, iSec, Iotilte Solutions, IG Drones, Quicko etc.

The overall placement is good around 90% of the student who registered for the placements got placed in the placement cycle 2025. Form the 7th sem the placement drive start and the preparation for the placement start from the 6th sem, taking months exams and interviews. The highest package was 13.38 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA. Also, after the 6th sem the student are given oppurtunity to opt for Internship in the summer break.

The tuition fees for B.Tech CSE was 1,73,000 Rs yearly when I enrolled for the course and at that time there was no increase in the fees who enrolled in 2021 and 2022 so same 1,73,000 Rs would be the tuition fees for the next 3 years which lead to total of 6,92,000 Rs for the complete 4 years duration of the course. At the time of admission their is one time registration fees which was 400 Rs. The caution fees depends on the course material that is provided by the university which is chargeable and vary from course to course. The tuition fees for the student who enrolled from 2023 was around 3,50,000 Rs yearly and may increase yearly by 7 to 10%. Their are several scholarship program at Ahmedabad University for some low middle class students giving 90 to 100% scholarship to them based on the audit conducted by the university. Their is also scholarship based on the merit for the students who have secured AIR of upto 30000 in JEE for a full or partial scholarship with some terms and conditons. Also, the 3 class topper from every course get 100% scholarship.

Ahmedabad University host different kind of events throughout the year and their are 3 different fest in an year. The clubs are so active and they host different events every wednesday in the campus after 12:30 PM. On every wednesday students mostly don't have any lecture after 12:30 PM because this time is allocated to the club events. University also arrange expo by the end of every sem, students showcasing there work done during the course.

The admission process at Ahmedabad University start from the a shortlisting round based on your score of JEE and ACPC and after that there is an interview taken by the faculties and once a student pass this both thing then they are offered admission letter and within a time frame they have to pay tuition fees. Ahmedabad University is known for it course curriculum, diverse students from all over the country and it reputation that the only reason I chose Ahmedabad University over other universities.

Faculties are so helpful they will always try to help in when every you need their help. During a course their are viva, mid-term, end-term and multiple quizzes mostly depend on the faculty how they design the course. The exams are mostly relative graded so tough to be in the 10% of the class.

During my admission process I got shortlisted and then I had an interview with two of the faculties from engineering school, they asked about my family background, hobbies, my journey till date and all.

The campus is located in the center of the Ahmedabad so we have a great nightlife in the campus and outside the campus. During night there are lot of food stall outside the campus offering different kind of foods and our university also have three different cafe within the campus offereing different cuisine. University has it own gym and library can be used 24*7.
