Remarks

Overall it's a great college to spend 4 years of a student's youth and it'll be an amazing journey with all sorts of experience both good and bad. The campus is situated in the center of the city so one can have a good social life.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum has been modified and evolved with each passing semester and faculties are constantly modifying there respective courses to keep students updated with the latest technologies across the world.Certain courses are offered as electives which students can choose from as per their interest.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they do offer some internships though it's not mandatory for us to do internships for ICT/ Computer department there are plenty of internships but for mechanical and chemical it's comparatively less.

Placement Experience

2

Again similar scenario, for ICT / computer engineering it's better both in terms of number and quality and package as well while it's less for mechanical and chemical engineering. It's been evolving and improving eventually but still not that good

College Events

3.5

Loads of events are celebrated in out college biggest of all being tech fest Ingenium. Followed by navratri festival, sports festival, youth festival etc. Every Wednesday is an event day there are almost 10 clubs in our University and every Wednesday there are certain club activities and every quarter they may organize some festivals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible and at par with other engineering colleges in Gujarat and there are certain scholarship programs offered at University some are government funded some our University's own by which students can get up to 50% scholarship based on their merit.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 3 to 4 scholarships facilited by our University all of them are obviously based on Merit that a perticular student gets in college during each semester and are financially week that is there family income is less that approximately 6 lacs. Students can get up to 50% scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Every Wednesday it's a club activity day all academic activities are completed by 2 pm so students can engage into these activities. There are 10 different clubs in out University and students can join them and enjoy.Talking about biggest event that is tech fest were at least 150 students of college work together as volunteers to make this state level festival a grand success with almost 40 to 50 events and a concert being organized and managed in 3 days in March.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostels were under construction while I was in college but now it's ready and students can get accommodate to hostels but I can't say much about that since I've not lived in hostel in my four years of college.

Alumni/Alumna

It's completely dependent on students if they build a contact and maintain good relationship with alumni they'll surly get anything and everything they need.Talking about seniors in college yes we have a very friendly atmosphere around the college there is an technical fest called ingenium every March we're in all the college students works together to make this event a bigger success each year and that's the time most of the students get connected to each other during 6 months of preparation time.

Exam Structure

It's in the hands of each faculty how he/she wants it to be done. General trend is 2 quizzes 1 mid term 1 end term and project/Viva But it's not mandatory for any faculty to follow this they can cancel quizzes or mid sem as per theirs choice. In some courses which are completely practical based than only with managements approval they can cancel end sem as well keeping just the project otherwise end seems are kind of compulsory.

Admission

I got admission through my ACPC rank. Once the merit list of ACPC was out we were supposed to fill out 1st mock round of colleges in the order we want admission selecting college and branch.I have filled out 15 colleges in the list and SEAS was probably 8 or 9th choice since it was a new college.

Faculty

4

Faculties are very helpful and always ready to help be it our regular academics or quizzes or any assignment doubts. They may not give exact answers to our problems in projects, they won't spoon feed us but guide us to find solutions ourselves and lead us there. And this has helped me shape myself alot in my college time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree, wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also, beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects, they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
