Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is quite structured and wellsuited for the course opted to what I felt. Like there are industrial visits also which gives you exposure for company's culture as well. But sometimes these industrial visits are of no use because of the venue. For exams they have 3 sessional no mid sem and the final university exam.

Internships Opportunities

2

To internship opportunities provided by college are similar to placement. Overall one has to realise that he/she has to do all the hard work for placement and internship and can't depend solely on college.

Placement Experience

4

The placement percentage can be said quite satisfactory but the average is very poor even the highest packages are off-campus, they hardly provide the packages of 4-5 lpa and approx 8-9 lpa to only I guess top 10% maximum. And above that the students crack it off-campus. So hustle a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

So, I have paid like a huge amount of Rs. 1,42,000 for the first year of my college, and this was all paid in single installment for the whole year, for second year it was Rs 1,37,000 for a year which was also to be paid in the beginning of the second year and in one time. But yes if you'll opt for admission through Fee-waiver it will be pretty well for you to just pay approx 30k per year only ( actually the tution fees gets reduced to 0). Also for the domicile of U.P students there is U.P. scholarshoip which provided me 50k in the first year, but varies for other categories.

Campus Life

4

To campus-life I feel it's worse here, hardly and fest or concerts occur in 3-4 yrs and that also paid. In my first year there were no tech fest at all. And if there are any they are at small level and paid. So don't expect a private college having a lot of fests, concerts, celebrities-meet and all. Yes there are college societies, depending on your interest one may join accordingly.

Admission

As of the repotation it earlier had, and the location as well, and along the ranking I got this college with my JEE rank in CSE. The admission process for all Aktu colleges are same the online seat preference and physical reporting.

Faculty

4

The Faculty is quite suportive and understanding. The ratio of faculty-to-student ratio is also quite nice. Some are quite strict but some are extremely nice. The teachers I liked till my 3rd sem are Ms. Malvika ma'am although she is quiet strictand got a lot punished aswell for attendance but is very supportive for other means and studies (especially if excelling in a particular tech skill), Ms Prabhjot Kaur, Mrs Kimmi Verma, Ranjeet Kaur, Twinkle, Medha Malik. To exams paper are easy but the checkings don't expect (the worst checking).

Night Life

2

There is gym for hostellers, cafe, college as well as hostel libraries. Hostel timings are very poor for girls hostellers like just 6 in winters and 7 in summers. For boys its quite okay like 9. To outside the famous hangout area is Crossings, and in the college I feel it's amphitheatre and cricket stadium only.
