Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is well-structured, covering essential theoretical concepts while integrating practical applications through projects, internships, and case studies. It provides a strong foundation for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. However, certain areas could benefit from updates to include emerging trends and technologies. I chose this course because of its relevance to my career aspirations, the comprehensive subject matter, and the balance between theoretical knowledge and hands-on learning. The presence of experienced faculty and the institution’s reputation also influenced my decision. The curriculum prepares students for industry challenges by incorporating practical training, but more exposure to real-world scenarios, such as guest lectures, live projects, and industry collaborations, would enhance readiness. Additionally, skill-based learning—focusing on communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills—should be further emphasized. Interactive teaching methods like case studies and debates could improve engagement. The frequency of exams is generally appropriate, though certain assessments may feel too clustered, affecting preparation

Internships Opportunities

4

My college offers internships with companies like [tcs, Samsung, dlf, omex, etc], providing roles in [it,management, data analytics et ] with stipends ranging from [30k-40k]. Students work on projects and gaining hands-on experience and industry exposure for better career prospects.

Placement Experience

4

Placements at my college start from [6sem], with top companies like tcs, adobe, samsung etc offering roles in ce and data analytics. The highest package is [4700000] LPA, and the average is 13.5lakhs LPA, with around 62% of students placed. For those without placements, career support and internships help improve employability.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for a B.Tech. at J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad range from INR 86,135-2,97,032. This includes tuition, admission, lab, and library fees. In first year the fees for btech ce is 102942 and it decrease with years.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is vibrant, with annual fests like lavidha in april .The library offers a vast collection of books and journals, while classrooms have smart boards and projectors. Sports facilities include kabaddi, basketball, football, chess, badmintonetc , and clubs like vividha, gdg, ieee etc . enhance student engagement. Student-run groups and events provide networking and skill-building opportunities, making campus life enriching.

Admission

I chose this college for its strong academic reputation, industry exposure, and balanced learning approach. Compared to other colleges I applied to, it offered better placements, faculty expertise, and infrastructure. I received admission offers from dcrust, but this college aligned best with my career goals. I faced rejections from some due to high cutoffs or intense competition. The admission process includes meeting eligibility criteria, clearing entrance exams like jee and going through counseling and document verification. Cutoffs vary, but counciling is the most common route. Overall, the process was smooth, and I’m confident in my choice, given the career and learning opportunities available here.

Faculty

4

Faculty are good there are about 190 faculties in which 30nare professor and 21 are associate professor and 138 are assistant professor and 1 librarian. The relationship between teachers and student are great and like other colleges there is mid term exam and then sem exam

Night Life

5

Nightlife around campus is decent, with students hanging in pebble downtown. On-campus, the gym, library, and cafeterias close by 9pm, while hostel entry is by [6pm for girls]. Popular spots include omex world street, and nearby midnight junction The area is generally safe, but students prefer moving in groups at night, making college life enjoyable and social.
