Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to study law and I am a commerce student that is why I opted for this course the curriculum prepares us well we have moot court for practicing real court things we have 4 exams in 4 months in between there are holidays too
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities the university or department assigns us under some firms or lawyers varying according to the course and there are stipens too most of the students get Salary too for there internship
Placement Experience
There are several placement opportunities in this university as they have a separate placement department for students every year 60% of the students gets a placements and the rest are also having a good employability
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to pay Rs.64000 per year as course fees admission fees is a one time fees and its Rs.20000 the caution money is Rs.10000 only paid during the admission there is no discount for other categories there are scholarships according to the cgpa of the students
Campus Life
The overall experience in this university is quite well the social life is good too in the hostels and the infrastructure is nice too we get electricity 24/7 without and cuts and the senior junior bond is also good
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are quite good there are no electricity cuts there are 2 ceiling fans 2 lights 2 tables 2 beds in the room as all the rooms are shared by 2 students the mess food is good not that good honestly there are many pgs outside the campus too
Admission
I applied for Assam University, Silchar as well along with this University but i could not qualify for the merit list in Assam university, silchar so I chose this university to come as my friends suggested that it is quite a good university
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is like 10:7 the relationship between the faculty and students are quite good all the faculties are well behaving there are 2 assessment exams namely 1st internal and 2nd internal and 2 main exams called mid-terms and end-terms mostly every students clears the exams
Night Life
The night life is honestly not that good because the the university is located in the outskirts of the main town there is only a local market nearby otherwise the night life not that nice there is a gym cafes and library too for students
