What Students Say

Likes

Everything expect the unnecessary long lectures
Canteen and the food and the hygiene of the campus
Infrastructure and how the teachers interact with the students and act like friends and also the festivals

Dislikes

Just the long lectures that they used to drag unnecessarily

Course Curriculum Overview

As from the beginning itself I wanted to go for BTECH and lpu was always my first choice as my cousins graduate from their and there experience withe university was best and I'm glad I chose it as my experience with the university is the best and I would suggest everyone

Class Size: 1500Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid somewhere around 112000 per year I didn't get any scholarship as Covid hit after the admission I don't know about the fee other batchmates from reserved category paid My over all experience is top notch

Campus Life

As I mentioned this before LPU is the best chapter of my life as i have made the best memories there and best of the friends as well LPU will always be number one in my sight LPU has given me good only carrier wise and socially as well

Admission

LPU is a dream to many people as the infrastructure the study structure and at last how they make sure every student of them should be successful when it comes to posting of jobs LPU was my first choice from the day one of my 11th class as I had heard so much good about it

Faculty

The faculty is very impressive most of them are IIT graduates and the way they make things easy to understand is something which sets LPU stand apart And coming to course curriculum they have made it in such a way where studying becomes fun not an headache

Night Life

Night life is pretty decent There's no vulgarity in the campus every student is focusing on their journey and dreams but night life is on when we have concerts and all there LPU as I said before as well is the best in India

Placement Experience:

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

Placement Experience:

From sixth semester onwards the students become eligible for college placement. Companies such as Tcs, corizo, wipro visit for placements , highest packages reach around 1 cr and average is about 10 to 15 lac for students with good scores

A Comprehensive Review on College Life, Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities provided are moderate in compariosan to other colleges and they are failry good in comaprison to the private unis.Most of the students based on their academics and skills become eligible for placements in their 5th semester.Both MNCs and startups visit the college and the average package ranges form 8-10 lpa and highest package can touch crores.The percentage of student getting placed is aslo good though i dont lnow the exact statistics. My plan is to go for placements during and after my degree.

Four Years of Growth , Grit and Glory

Placement Experience:

In Chandigarh University you are being elligible to sit in the placement from the end of the 6th semester . A large no. of companies visit the unversity daily for all type of departments talking about my department , companies like Zopasmart , JTG , EY , JP Morgan , TCS , Cognizant , Deloite and many other companies came for the college comapnies with ann average comapny selected upto 10 -12 students . Till now the highest package offered is 37 LPA for the role of software developer . Talking about the no. of students placed from the total students in the batch i would say less then 30% percent of the total students have been placed from the university campus placements till now . Curently i am also focusing on the campus placements to get a start to know more about the corporate world , If i am unable to get a campus placement the i ll go for offline interviews and spends 4 to 5 years in the field after that i ll start my own buisness .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

I have applied for MITS Gwalior but when I have searched about that college I got to know that there is no coding culture and mainly focuses on theory so I have not applied for it. LPU campus life

Many students choose these colleges bcz they saw big names on paper like cloud, database, python, java, linux but in reality they dont teach properly after admission many faculties skip practical portion covers only theoritical portion that fells worst to students and after 9am to 5pm classes student feels tired and not able to do self study.
