Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum in this cottages almost outdated rain we have been taught from certain deep and main to our this certain technologies and all the outlets they had things are being taught let's look at the exam was not that much higher but this is Cameron goes on in the universe in that lot of sources get mass supply this is not going to supply so that they can earn money on the fine that we give

Fees and Financial Aid

the early phase is worth one point three lakhs and the monthly order semester full phase would go around sixty six thousand which will not every single expenses and the transportation would build quite different and about the cost shape it's been provided to the students so have low family income but they should have a certificate that that proof they are claim their claim

Campus Life

we don't know social aspect of the life we do come across not food people over here it's not about the people actually and about the environment it's quite soothing but sometimes it's dark in between the corruption of difficulty and over and about the event social group clubs they do hold a lot of extravagance every if anyone is interested in they can surely visit here like they do have a lot of events based on technicalities not technical and JST events a lot of social groups are being formed and are college the social groups clubs and student portals and address impact on life in most of the certain way like we can improve our communication skills and theres a lot that goes and we are being held responsibility from for a lot of the events like for the smooth running

Admission

Mainly about say that they do possess a lot of good placement like a lot of women says come across this college and we can get certain opportunities and excel in our career I didn't try it in any kind of mocha I just came here only and about that mission to the its quiet soothing there to claim a lot of things but it's not true actually and about the acceptance rate they do hold acceptance rate of around eighty five percent sometimes it's not in a specific domain I can see or see that so there's a lot of seats but they providers additional courses as well that align to the

Faculty

4

They're lack of difficult in this college actually like for 66 students they have only one teacher like a lot of time this happens at this rashes in the student all that a lot when teachers are not available and they are just busy in some other work together weather college they do have a lot of best faculty who are highly qualified and have good knowledge on field we want to study and bond a technical teachers are not that much capable in technical work all the noise theory we what we like is that we want to go through a lot of technical stuff but they are not actually providing us that so that owners like if you want to study certain something we can't just go to teachers and like can you teach us like they don't the technical implementation of that certain thing like they are a lot of languages in our field that we need to study but the thing is like our teacher press on your theoretical knowledge that is not enough for replacements like we have to will build logic and a lot of stuff in the placement exams so what I think is it is not that much as recover for the students because we do like a lot of skills and we don't ever get proper guidance I can't name any kind of frequently that I would like

Night Life

4

I didnt know about the nightline but as my hotel mentioned like they do have a lot of fun in there but in case of girls hostel they do have a lot of extinction like they are not being allowed to go outside the hostel like Bahar Hostel is in between the college entry like they are not even allowed to roam in the college but thats okay thats the concern for them only

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The placement cell is active throughout the year and brings in a mix of product-based, service-based and mid-tier tech companies. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Companies come for roles like software trainee, analyst, QA, support engineering and web development, so there’s a good spread of entry-level roles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The placement of our college is good but its lack to bring big names but overall it's 3 out of 5 as it's basically focus on bringing software companies but our stream is of electronics so we donot have that much knowledge about coding so we lack to get placed this is the only disadvantage of the placement cell here

In 3rd semester a student is eligible for campus placement but it is all upto to students that they have to maintain a good cgpa and skills for interviews. In Chitkara university a good number of companies visited like Microsoft, google and they provide 100+ offerletters. 85-90 % students get placed in Chitkara university. After getting degree I firstly join to the company .

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak. That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.
