A life in Hansraj College

The course is relevant for the students opting for PHD in future. The students who are interested in teaching line in future can opt for this course in future. The syllabus is very easy most of the topics are from Graduation which you have already studied.

I haven't participated in the intership offered by my college as I don't want to go in corporate line in future. But the college provide various internship opportunities for the students in the intership fest.

The year wise fees that I paid was Rs. 23,219. It was inclusive of tuition fees, caution fees, development charges, admission fees and other compulsary charges. The fees structure was same for all categories like SC and SC. My batchmates paid the same amount of fees as mine. Our college provide scholarships for the refund of 50%-100% of the college fees. It was based on a personal interview by the authorities.

The college organises an annual fest in college yearly typically in March-April. The accessibility for the books in not good as books for masters students are not available mostly. There are many extra curricular activities in colleges.

I applied for SRCC, Hindu College and third for Hansraj. I got admission in Hansraj College in the first cutoff and freezed my admission so that I don't face any issue in future because there are only few seats. The admission process is very easy.

For masters students the internal exams are held in respective colleges and the final exams are held in department. The internals include 5 marks for Attendance, 5 for assignment and 20 for inhouse exams taken every semester. The faculty to student ratio is too slow as we don't have any means to connect with the teachers in the starting of the semester and we have to face some issues in attendance because of this.

The gym is mostly empty , not much students go there. The library closes at 6pm everyday. The cafeteria is good. There are many outlets in college. The famous hangout is Lp point in Hansraj College. I haven't attended any late night activities yet.
