Course Curriculum Overview

3

I joined these colleges because they have good placements , and i can take minor degree in ces but i can see that it so difficult to manage two different courses because there is Tight schedule which more disturbing and curriculum is good enough to us for real world applications and there should be change in teaching methods like in this digital world they should use animation etc to teach in good ways for subject like engeneering drawing and they should focus on courses like sports. The exams are quite difficult to score 9 cgpa

Internships Opportunities

2

TCS. Infosys, Wipro, Reliance Industries Limited. , Hindustan Unilever Limited , steel plant and generally non private colleges are can give industrial trainings better . An internship provides firsthand experience, professional opportunities and personal growth.

Placement Experience

4

After 7 th semester students are eligible for placements . Top recruiting companies are Uber, Udaan, Wipro, SAP Labs, Accenture, TCS, Celigo and many more these companies offered software jobs.As our college is close to the IT city Hyderabad we get good placement offers for CSE, Highest Package OfferedRs. 30 LPA (B.Tech), Rs. 13 LPA (M.Tech), Average Package Rs. 13 LPA (B.Tech),Rs. 6.9 LPA (M.Tech),Total number of job offersis 1120 ,Total number of students placed 1140

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise i paid is like around 200000. Tution fee for oc is 62500 per sem , and hostel fees 28000, per sem and we have other fees at Start of 1st sem , it's around 30000, which includes all fees like admission fees, lab fees, etc and for catagory reservation, sc don't have tution fees but only hostel fees , and if the income btw 1-5 lpa income for both parents we have 30000 deduction in tution fees and less than 1lpa no tution fees . We have nsrp which i am getting through.

Campus Life

3

We have two major events are technozion which is a tech feast in dec and spring spree which is biggest cultural feast in Feb end and we have few audi nights and 2 dance events and we have so many clubs like we have 5 clubs in dance and science, business, finance etc and we easy access for books and we use atm like machines in Library to access books and we have digital library in 1st year we have Extra Academic Activity course for 2 classes in a week which is fitness classes where we jog and do yoga etc average extracurricular activities offered on campus

Hostel Facilities

3

We have a website called ERP nitw in which all the fees and registration for courses are going on we have cupboards, a fan ,light, they provide ethernet connection and they give a bedcot for each we have 8 four people shared room rest of all double shared rooms in total 900 rooms are there , the quality for avarage and we ve only veg mess for 1st year students and for non veg we have to pay extra.

Admission

I got NIT Rourkela but i choose NITW because there is good placements only the reason and i want to study other course so if i can't then i should be able to get in my core , i didn't get rejection and admission process is to write jee mains exam , to clear the cutoff of the college and there is no chance of donation and cutoff for my branch 29000-48000 crl and it based on catagory

Faculty

3

1:70 is the student ratio and the interaction of some faculties are quite good but few even don't care what students are doing but overall it is good and Nidhi sonkar department of cse. I didn't like her because she just go with people who are good at these and care only them, and Deepika neela mam who is good at explaining the maths in good way and she teaches for 3 sections and she will come to see what we are doing. And Arokia sir department of metallurgy who is funny and smart which he teaches design thinking course now exams, we have Mid sem and end sem , in Mid sem they divided into 2 exams called minors for 15 marks each and attendance for 10 marks and 40 marks for end sem , 20 marks for teacher assissment it is more likely assignments give by teachers and it more like a school system which is not good to find time to out of system, that was enough for course curriculum

Night Life

4

I have few spots which i like hangout which are Time square and food street and we have gym in hostel and we another gym and in SAC and we can't go outside after 10 PM and there is no intime for boys but 11 pm for girls there is full safe in campus even in nights

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed
