Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum was relevant cause my subject shows me the real side of society. And it prepares me very well for real society cause it shows me how our city was developed and how we can get more progress in it. Exam was conducted in every 2 months

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 5600 yearly and it includes all fees college doesn't charge more than this from anyone. Cause our college doesn't gave relaxation in fees for anyone, cause the college fee is already at very affordable rates .

Campus Life

They help Basant panchmi, independence day, founders day and republic day. Various range of book are available cause we have 2 libraries in college that are big. No we didn't have technologies provision.

Admission

I only applied for this clg because it has very good reputation and it affordable and students was mostly successful of this college. No I didn't get any rejection cause I didn't applied anywhere. I gave a entrance test.

Faculty

Faculty and students relationship was good and all facilities was approachable cause every teacher was helpful. And I like social science faculty and english department cause these faculty always support every student rather than their faculty identity. I didn't like art faculty cause here teachers were not supportive and was rude. In every semester we give exam 3 times- ct1, ct2, and then external exam and external practical also. And exam was average and mostly no one falils in class. Course was relevant

Night Life

I didn't live in night in college so, I have no idea about this but I can't suggest in days I use to hangout in OT that is called open theatre where some students use to play drama and it was really amazing.

Placement was not satisfactory, they usually call the sales company like Policybazaar, Religare and banks. Also they connect some more comany like tcs and some finance-based jobs. most of the student get a job by their own reference

Life at JT Girls Degree College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. The course i did from the college does not require placements. But yes, in other courses like MBA, BCOM,ENGINEERING, BBA etc. campus placements happen and you do get good placements in good companies. The packages are not below 300000-400000 lakhs After my degree, I am currently working as a content writer as per my skills. i have worked with international and national businesses.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness. The admission process is you can fill online and offline forms where you need to may something between 500- 1000 per form.
