Course Curriculum Overview
The course and subjects chosen are accurate for a person to opt for any branch of engineering. Also it provides lateral entry to btech in Engineering faculty for those who want to directly start B.Tech from 2nd year.
Internships Opportunities
In diploma , the teachers suggest children to apply for specific companies and help them to get an internship in good companies. Various projects are made and helped by teachers which develops one's interest and skills.
Placement Experience
There is no placement for Information Technology. But for other branches they offer placement for below average to excellent students . One can opt for diploma in IT for learning but there is a bare minimum chance of getting placed on campus and off campus both
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees is around 9000 and 27000 for whole 3 year diploma. The registration fee is 270 INR . For other castes than General the fee may be 500rs lesser. Students who are residential of Uttar Pradesh can apply for UP scholarship.
Campus Life
There are really no fun events rather than the founder's day. There is a wide facility of libraries and books for students who cannot afford buying them . For females, theoretical classes are took Through transmission which is a big disadvantage. There is always low network connection and bad electricity facilities in WPT. One can participate in sports and activities openly .
Admission
To be honest, i chose this college because it is one of the well known college in Agra. Also it is affordable and a nearby college for people in Agra. Firstly, you have to register your application by paying 270rs .Then one has to appear in the entrance examination then an interview and then finally for counselling.
Faculty
The faculty- student relationship is pretty good as a female student. But most of the classes of females took place in WPT(Women's Polytechnic) where the teachers are pretty rude and will try to point out the habits, mistakes and more to prove you being a characterless girl.
Night Life
In boys hostel, one can enter upto 10pm but in girls hostel, the girl cannot enter after 5pm in evening. Also in girls hostel the dress code is strict . You cannot have any electronic device not even a phone . But there are several PGs and Cafes nearby .
