I have liked the college campus which is very big and also for parking area where I can park my bike very comfortablely
The room of this college is are very large where there is no gathering by the students
Neat and clean campus which is well good , and cleaning is done in every 2 to 3 days

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose b.com couse because I want to become C.A. and also i have chosen commerce in hs so that I have some idea about it , the semester exams are of in after 6 months which 1st and 2nd exams are unitests and last one is final

Class Size: 144Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees i have paid is near about 7k to 8k which is 5.5k is for admission and rest are for center fee and exam fee, i haven't taken any tutor because this college teachers are very and friendly which clear our all doubts and guide and support us till our exams starts

Campus Life

There are many annual programs in this college which are done in auditorium and recently we celebrate our Saraswati Puja in the college, there is no discrimination among Muslims and Hindus in the college All the books are available in the library, we can use our library card to apply for the book, we got the library cards at the time of our admission

Admission

I don't for other colleges because this college is nearby to my home , and this college review is good at the local . No i don't get rejected because I don't applied for other colleges The admission process is through online and verification is done in the college by the college staffs

Faculty

The teachers are almost above than 100 and students are nearby 700 , and the faculty to student relationship is quite good . I personally like the commerce department faculty which are best in my thoughts because they are in friendly nature . There are about 3 exams in an semester which is 1unit test , 2nd unitest and final , unitests are easy and are of 20 marks and final question papers is of 70 and 10 marks if assignment or practical exams , which is 20+70+10 is 100 marks

Night Life

There is a gym in our college which is quite good and the membership of this about Rs.250 which is affordable to everyone, and library is also good and canteen also have affordable prices in food Our college doesn't have any hostel facility, the students have take nearby rent or p.g. for college whose house is far away from college

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is very rich and varied for someone from commerce background . There are a lot of subjects for students which students study in various semesters . There's even EVS in the curriculum which is wierd but also great . I feel the curriculum is a lot based on the real life there are topics related to computerised accounting, e businesses , virtual reality , augmented reality , stock markets etc etc . which are ig very necessary for today's world . Since I am just in my 1st semester I don't think I can say a lot about the improvements that can be made but I feel the curriculum can also include a little about AI as it's the burning topic of today's world . If there's a subject like EVS for commerce then I feel even an AI subject will not pose much difficulty or chaos among the students . Exams are very regular . I just had my sessional exams in October and now I am preparing for my finals which are in December

Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

Well balanced college for taking education and skills.

Numerous common courses were available and i chose Bcom Honours, the admission process was smooth, i got the notification in their official site . I went to the college to get more admission details. They have an online system for admission of students. We filled my details in their website and then was told to provide the acknowledgement form physically. The course price of Bcom Honours is 5000 rs but if your parents income is less than 2 lakhs per annum then its just only 550rs, which i took.
