Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate it 9/10. So, i chose this course because it is very modern it's not old school. The couse i chose is bsc clinical psychology. Anyone can opt for this course as i am from humanities background i thought i can't opt this course but when i met the faculty they told me and made me understand that i can approach this course. The curriculum is very good. I am in 1st year i can't tell how much it prepares it me for real time but the course has this thing that it will make me prepare for it for sure. The teaching methods are fine if we have any issue we can ask the teacher to change it and she happily changes her/his teaching methods. I want teachers to provide me with notes and then start teaching. The timing is fine no issue on that and the difficulty level is not much. It's easy!
Internships Opportunities
I am not aware of it for now. But i know that there are many internships to do but they are pain as of my knowledge. Otherwise, teachers recommend what internship to do for psycholgy i know i am not aware of any other course.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. I am not aware of the placements for now as i am in 1st year right now. Many companies visit amity university. Average package is 5 lakh per annum. After getting my degree i will do my msc or ma in psychology and then i will do my phd in psychology itself. My core is clinical psychology.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees is 2 lac 4 thousand per year. My course is of 4 years. Scholarships are available for those who scored 90+ in 12th standard, other scholarship is for those who can't afford to give the fees. There are 2-3 more sort of scholarships. If a student scores 8+ sgpa they can apply for scholarships.
Campus Life
The overall experience is good. I enjoy going to my college. Everyday i wake up and i happily go to my college i enjoy alot and there are many thungs i can do except doing studying. Many many festivals are celebrated very grand. A wide range of books and journals are available. Every classroom has a projector in it and every classrom wifi is easily accessible. Every sport, and extracurricular activity is there. A very big huge ground is there. Other activites are there too. Yes, there are many student run social groups.
Admission
i chose this college just for the course they are providing. It's the bestc ourse ihave found. Other colleges were providing with only ba psychology hons but amity university was poviding with 4-5 options for psychology course
Faculty
Faculty is very good. Sometimes they are cranky but overall it's good. The relationship between students and the faculty is very good. I haven't seen a single child that is uncomfortable or they have any issue with the faculty. The faculty is very much easily approachable. Students can approach them and they are very polite and they help alot to their students. I love the faculty of psychology as it best!. No questions about that. There is no one i don't like. The exams happen 2 times in a year that is end sem examination. The level of exams is fine it's neutral if students study, they can easily pass the paper!. The course curriculum is fine. I don't have any prolem with it
Night Life
The nightlife is fine. I haven't expeienced it till now but my peer group has experiences it and it's safe. Gym closes at 6 pm, library closes at 8 pm hostel closes at 7 pm and campus closes at 9 pm. There are malls to visit and a huge variety of cafes.
