Course Curriculum Overview

3

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness i rate my course 6 out of 10 My decision to take BA in Economics was because of studying indian Economy its structural changes that taked place in 1991 ,we call that economic reforms. In my opinion govt should focus on studying that courses which will help the students in job market and teaching methodology should focused on practicality that should exist on real world

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee was 5000 Admission fee was 300 Exam.fee was 2100 Tuition fee was 1000 Miscellaneous was 2000 For SC and ST it was half of the amount we paid Yes there was scholarship but it was for SC,ST Obc

Campus Life

3

The university of kashmir provides a balanced student life with good academic support, a peaceful environment, and opportunities for personal growth. Literature festival begins in summer and other debates about state economies ,country gdp growth, and much more Range and accessibility of books and journals is avaliable free from departmental library as well as central library Facilities are not so much advanced with classrooms at that time Sports and extracurricular activities are good enough in campus both for boys as well as girls like playing cricket tournaments and khokho for girls Sports club and NSS and Ncc units

Admission

Why i chosed the campus First of all Affordable fee No 2 scholarship and Financial aid faculty and Research facility last but not least reputation of campus Comparison why i not chosed the other campus because of fee structure, Faculty, infrastructure, Research, Diversity and many more I have not applied another colleges so no rejection Admission facilities, the students should posses 50 percent marks in secondary level .

Faculty

3

Faculty students ratio is high like 80 :1 Faculty and student relationship is quite cool in some cases but in some cases they are arrogant Professor Imtiyaz gul, what a professor he is in teaching us like mother is feeding his children Effit ara and javed iqbal ,these two were arrogant They are 6 semester in 3 years ,difficult level us moderate to tough , 95 percent passed the examination Course curriculum is not matching with job market

Night Life

3

Hostel gatherings like students live in hostels often organize small get _ together, debates and discussions Libary and study hall Hostel timing is open from morning to evening Campus timing is 10am to 4 pm also depends upon seasons Hangout places ,of our campus is Dargah which is on the banks of dal lake There is also mughal gardens and asia's no 1 flower garden Tulip garden which is open in April

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.

The practical nature of this course dragged me to choose this course. The course is well designed to solve the every day's problem. The practical portion should be enhanced more to inculcate practical knowledge. In a year 4 exams are conducted at an interval of 3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects that are beneficial for me. For example: Gender and Society – teaches me about society’s orthodox traditions and norms. Indian Knowledge System – explains how India’s knowledge has evolved over time. Literature – provides an overview of English literature, excluding stories and poems, and focuses only on the parts that are useful for us. Environmental Studies – gives knowledge about our surroundings, including living and non-living things. Political Science – a systematic study of the structure and behavior of the state and political institutions. Logical Reasoning – the best part of the course, very useful for our knowledge as well as civil services and defense exams. Law and Society – will help me in my further studies in law. Personally, the two specific subjects that made me choose this course were Law and Society and Logical Reasoning, because these subjects are rarely available elsewhere and will be very beneficial for me. The teachers are good at teaching, but there is a need to make changes in the teaching methods. As of now, there are only blackboards or whiteboards, whereas instead there should be smart panels, which would make learning more interactive and keep students engaged. Exams are held about two months after the semester begins — first internals and then externals. There is generally a two-month gap between the two. I believe the difficulty level depends on how deeply we understand the concepts and how well we prepare, although overall the difficulty is usually easy to moderate.

The college curriculum was quite nice and i would rate it from good to very good, The syllabus is really good and covers both theoretical foundationand practical applications, which make it suitable for students aiming for industry roles or higher studies Areas of improvement include updating some subjectsmore frequently to meet the industry needs.Teaching methods could also be improved by using more interactive sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.
