What Students Say

Likes

Education system and campus life was wonderful .
Lecturers were friendly and with good knowledge .
Lab facilities was good along with the infrastructure .

Dislikes

Placements were upto the mark for some batches.
Could have been improved in providing events and functions .
Basic lab equipments needs improvements.

Course Curriculum Overview

Rns institute of technology follows curriculum prescribed by visveswaraya technological university ( VTU ) , which governs the engineering colleges in karnataka. The exams frequency was for every semister .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for every year was rs25000 under Supernumery quota(SNQ).Which waw given only to 3 members among 60 members. The regular fees was 85000 under cet . The regular management fees costed upto 20L rupees for mechanical .

Campus Life

We enjoyed the mechanical department events along with the annual cultural events in our college . There must have been more sports events and technical fests . There were minimal clubs like dance ,singing,sports etc.

Admission

I applied and was interested in only a few colleges namely dayanad sagar , pes and rnsit . Among them i have been resulted with rnsit under cet score . The cutoff for rnsit was 20k cet ranking for mechanical engineering.

Faculty

The faculty and student rati was 1:30. Faculty have very good experience for more than 12 yrs with good industrial experience , providing practical insights into teaching. They are supportive and easily approachable.

Night Life

There was gym which was very small and closed most of the time , even i observed minimum number of people interested in fitness and gymnastics . There were many hangout places and cafes nearby which was a good hangout place.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible for campus selection in their third semester like I in the sector semester will have someone internships where students will get to know about the industry they will work for many companies in internship and then they will be eligible for the interviews in the 4th year itself like the last two semesters the companies visitor in BMS College of engineering Amazon Google Microsoft and top companies all that all the most top companies because the strength of VMS College of engineering + killed students are very high percentage of students getting placed is like 7030 as in the 30% many of them of 2 highest teddy and some of them do research and other stuff so I would say 70% of them get placed and 30% of them do highest studies place do business and other stuff like star startups mostly I also do higher studies in doing MBA or masters in other fields of interest if I get a good placement I will do job for 1 hour 2 years and then do highest studies

The college with good staff!!

Placement Experience:

From 8 8th semester, students become eligible for the campus. The companies like IT companies offer made. The highest package is 6 lakh and the lowest package is 3 lakh. 25% of students are selected for the campus. I plan to work at google company.
