Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this curriculum because political science is my favourite subject since schooling days. At MCC the course is designed in a sequential manner to help students understand and develop a practical approach while learning. The course provides ypu theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge which is why I love this course. I feel teaching methods can be improved more by student's exposure to different types of NGOs or UN. The frequency and timing of exams are very well decided by keeping in mind the fact that students are being provided with several opportunities and are occupied with the skills and knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

5

I was offered a internship through MCC for graphic designing as I had done a certified course for graphic designing. The stipend I was offered was ?15,000-?20,000 + incentives. I find it a great opportunity to kick start my career while pursuing my course.

Placement Experience

5

From 4th semester, students become eligible for campus placements and internships. MCC provides its students with a variety of renowned company's placements and internships. The average package starts from ?10 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per semester is ?27,000 and the annual fees is ?54,000.Students can also apply for scholarships. The annual fees remains the same for the whole course duration. Students who get scholarships have to pay comparatively low fees.

Campus Life

5

At MCC, the annual fest is hosted in the month of February which is known as CUL-AH & pre CUL-AH. In the annual fest renowned artists are called in the college for their performances. MCC also organises Halloween themed event for students.

Admission

I got into all the renowned colleges of India as I scored 96% in CBSE class 12th board exams. I got into DU (Delhi University) but I wanted to give it a try in MCC instead. And it was a great choice. There is a entrance exam for admission in MCC and the cut off is above 90%.

Faculty

5

The faculty members at MCC are very enthusiastic and helpful. We can approach the faculty members regarding doubts and questions. I like the political science department. All the faculty members of this department are my favourite. I don't hate any department. There are 3 set of exams per semester i.e CIA 1, CIA 2 and end semester exams.

Night Life

3

Students at MCC spend their free time in canteen with their friends. Their are number of students who play basketball or other sports during their free time. Reading room and library area are used by students for studying or completing assignments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
