Remarks

Mount Carmel College is known for providing quality integral education and for focusing on holistic development. These ideologies resonate with me as I like to balance between my academics and co-curricular activities while having the exposure of a greater group of peers to learn from. MCC has Achieved A grade and awarded five stars by NAAC and been Recognized College by UGC. Its great infrastructure is a motivational factor along with its highly credited professors like Dr. S Rajkumar. I opted for this course because BBA provides strong and solid business education.

Course Curriculum Overview

the faculty of the college is exceptional and its really good at what they do. they are extremely helpful and they helps us to gain a better understanding of the concepts.they are always there to clear our doubts. Curriculum is well updated every year and does include all the recent developments. curriculum provides us with essential credit and courses required to step into the corporate world. organises various fests and there is a fest every month, the biggest most know fest is culah around 300 colleges are invited and it’s named as the Queen fest of Bangalore it happens for 2 days

company like Goldman shack, jp Morgan, byjung, earnest and young and many more companies have come to our college. Having the advantage of a place like bangalore a decent number of startups also visit the campus. About 15% of the placements are by alumni referrals in the operations field, around 10% in the business field and about 5% in the field of IT. The highest placement of the year had a package of 6 lakhs. The college has a placement board which helps you brush up your skills through different entrance examinations before the final selection process takes place by companies offering jobs.

MCC organizes various fests and there is a fest every month, the biggest most known fest is cul-ah around 300 colleges are invited and it’s named as the Queen fest of Bangalore it happens for 2 days. cul-ah brings out about 80 events. the top sponsor of cul-ah is fastrack inta-college fests are also held regularly.

Fees and Financial Aid

the college offers a Central Sector Scheme scholarships if you've secured about 87% in pre-university examination. the scholarship is given by MHRD and is for 1st year students.

Campus Life

The college campus is quite good and has well-equipped labs, library, associations, classrooms and auditorium. Food in canteen in very hygienic and there a lot variety is available to taste and at very affordable price. wi-fi for students is also provided. Labs have very high equipment and a digital one or the latest ones that are helpful for students. the college has 63 cultural associations (sports, music, dance, travel&tourism, literature, history, MUN, journalism, public speaking, botany, microbiology etc)

Hostel Facilities

i haven't opted for hostel but there are a number of pg's available in the radius of 0.5 km from the college. the lane opposite to the college has the most number of pg's. The rental in these cases are between 7000-12000 a month. The price differs based on choice of facilities.

Performing Arts have more of practical things as from acting to direction we are taught everything. History and Theory as some theory part and the kind of career path that our course provides, I think for students interested in this, should join our course at Christ University.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronics and communications wholeheartedly. Since my childhood, I was very interested in electronics and very humble in learning new topics in digital electronics. I was never a coding guy, so I took electronics and communications as my course. It was an easy choice for me. So class's average strength is around 65 to 70. And the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The teachers are well qualified and most of them are doctorate holders. The timetable is arranged in a manner such that there is smooth conduction of classes for all-year students. The exams are semester wise and there will be internals every month. Questions are better, you have to know little bit contents taught in classes and also from textbooks. It is easy to pass.
