Likes
- The best thing is that there is not much pressure of maintaining 75% attendance, about 60% is sufficient. Only in case of some strict faculty , you have to maintain 75%.
- You get a plenty of free time. There is not that much academic pressure. Faculty are experienced but as engineering student no one studies in classes.
- boys: girls is about 55:15 in a section. Campus is big as compared to other AKTU affiliated colleges. Cafeteria, amenity, temple and library are some good parts of campus.
Dislikes
- Despite of being too much space in campus, infrastructure is not that much good. The space is not fully utilized.
- Classrooms are to simple just like school classrooms.
- There is a placement cell but no internship opportunities. For placement also there is very less scope that you will have campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Cirriculum is not upto mark as i had heared before taking admission. But this is not college fault, its AKTU fault. Teaching methods are simple like chalk and talk. there are cia every month and one end sem.
Placement Experience
In 7th semester student become eligible for placeents. There are may companies like amazon, samsung, tech mahimdra , hcl who hire from here. But the hiring rate is not upto the mark. about 60% are placed among who apply. My plans are to apply off campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees for 1st year is 137850 that includes all type of fees. From 2nd year to 4th year - 119850 yearly. The fee is same for each and every department. There are some scholarships but the scholarship we are benefitted is UP Scholarship by uttar pradesh government.
Campus Life
Campus life is not best but is more better than average. There is one annual fest. Library is best part , it has more than 10000 og books and journals. classrooms are not good. there is one sport meet. there are 23 clubs in the college.
Admission
According to my jee mains rank i applied for KIET ghaziabad, AKGEC ghaziabad. I had choice of these but i took admission in JSS noida due to prime location. As it is very accessible to nearby companies. Admission process is based on UPTAC counselling after passing jee mains.
Faculty
there are about 3500-4000 students and about 500+ faculies. They are helpful and approchable except some. All the faculties of 1st year are too good especially Manisha mam, physics faculty. Maths department for 1st year have good faculties. If we talk about 2nd year to 4th year ECE department faculties are helpful and approachable although they are serious about rules and regulations. CSE faculties are strict. Curriculum and exams are based according to AKTU.
Night Life
There is no nightlife everything closes before 8 pm. main gate closes at 10 pm. hostel gate close at 9 pm. There are too many hangout places outside college as its one of the best place in noida. Delhi is nar to hangout.
