Likes
- There is always yes for the students that wants to study n only study. And also the teacher inmy department isvery co-operative.
- The environment is good as per the standard of our city. Big Fights are not happening and small fights can be stopped asap inmy college.
- No dress code, 2 canteens, separate department for civil, mechanical.
Dislikes
- No placement for the civil and mechanical department. And also there is criteria for percentage above 65% to attend the interview in other department.
- The rules to go out from college in lunch is onlyfor boys not for girls. There must be same rules for all.
- Some students make fake calls to faculty to go out.
Course Curriculum Overview
The main aspects in 2014 was b.tech is good for future and also not a good knowledge of other new courses and mainthing is got a good score in UPTU exam and the reservation of schedule caste got me select this course. Honestly, no real world applications is managed by doing this course. There must be full chance given to the students to appear in placememt drives whether they score more or less because someone who is not able to score in academics but good in managing the real world scenarios in the job. They must got the full opportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees was: 1st year - 100000 at the time of admission tgen after 1st semester there is another installment of 20000 as the new fees structure starting from 2014 only. Then 100000 per year for all the remaining years of course. Total 420000?. Andbythe time it is increasing.
Campus Life
The campus life is great for the studious students and if you need to focus on other social aspects youmust need tojoin some the community or the clubs that present in the college.... And also you need to clear the GD round to join the club. The infrastructure is great there is only 2 builinds that is old but in a good condition and all civil,mechanical, have new buildings. And there is a 7 floor building called M-block that is the best and unique thing in my college or inmy cityalso
Admission
I did choose this college because of my UPTU score and this is the best college for engineering in meerut. Miet provides good bus services placement is good in engineering except civil and mechanical. I could make it to other colleges but with my score i can go with the best college in meerut that whyi choose MIET. And the admission process is smooth and clear.
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is 60 students per 01 teacher in single lecture. The faculty is verg much approachable and the student faculty relationship is good. Mr. Pankaj gupta faculty of maths,he teaught us in first and 3 semester which makemy score good in maths. Exams are 48 in full course, all are easy and hard atse time. All students were passed.
Night Life
The night lifeis not so happening because the college located on the national highway so after the 8pm the roads are not that busy, only the few vehicles cross around the college. The highways runs similar to the day n night. College has gym, cafeteria,library, ground, badminton net and also the public area to roam around in college campus. Thegirls hostel is seaprate fromcollege but not far from college. Its actually attached but thereis no way to get easily in there for other girls.and for other gender is nearly impossible. Overall the area near the college is very safe because police is always there. And there is full CCTV coverage around the college.
