Course Curriculum Overview
I chose bcom hons because i have interest in the field of finance and accounting. The curriculum is in sync with the current scenerio. We are provided with value added courses like tally and advanced excel to equip ourself with practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Internship are provided at the end of even semester. We have internship opportunities available both paid and non paid. With internship we get real life corporate experience and get our hands on with the real world
Placement Experience
My plan after college is to get a job. Students become eligible for placement after 5th semester. Many are preparing for government exams. Ca firms and banks often visit the campus. Highest package is 3.5 and lowest is 2.8 lacs
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid the fees around the time of admission. The total was around 25000 which inclused tution fees and fee for college kit which was around 4000. Fees is fixed for all students as everyone is paying the same amount. Year wise fees would 50000.
Campus Life
Sports and cultural events are quite common in the campus. Swadeshi or african meet. We have a lot of clubs like finance , hr , marketing ,it , ncc, nss etc. Sports like golf , lawn tennis , basketball , volleyball, and indoor activities like table tennis carron chess are all around the campus
Admission
It was a very simple process. We just went to the college counselled with a few teachers and took admission. The admission was merit based and i was given preference by the college because of my percentage. I tried applying to mcm dav but didnt like the atmosphere of college since its a girls only college.
Faculty
The faculty to student ration is 1 to 6 so we often get individual attention. The faculty is very interactive and is approachable in any kind of situation. There are two mid semester exams as per the ptu curriculum and one final at the end of semester. Exam difficulty varies from moderate to hard
Night Life
College is located in the heart of city so the life around is always happening and we generally find everything we need around available. There is a gym in college and the college closes at 5 pm. I am not in hostel so cant comment about night life
